The best bit is they have Côte D’Ivore (Ivory Coast) as a landlocked country 😂. Someone should tell them the clue is in the name. Really is beyond belief….

I always thought that it would probably take 10-15 years after Trump for “allies” to trust the US again. If he gets another 4 years, relationships with the USA will be permanently finished. I can see Europe starting to form closer ties with China as they’ll be a more reliable partner.

I’m absolutely shocked that as many as 10% would consider the US any kind of ally. I thought the number would be nearer 1%,….it must be a typo

100% correct.

Why does that matter? The fact that you struggle to understand the difference between communism and socialism should bother you more.

It seems to be a common misconception in the US that socialism = communism, so socialism is bad. Things like free healthcare, a welfare system to help the most vulnerable in society or a sensible minimum wage are examples of socialism, and most European citizens think these policies are a good thing

Yes, to be fair he’s handled a very difficult situation amazingly well. I dread to think where we’d be if some of the other party “leaders” had been making the decisions on our behalf. We’d probably be bombing Tehran by now.

Setting the legality issue aside. The strength of anti US feeling is so strong in Europe now that it would be political suicide for any leader to cave in to Trumps demands.

The most shocking thing about this poll is that the percentages are so low. Run the same poll outside the US and you’d see a far bigger general consensus.

The odd thing is that they don’t seem to realise that Europe, Canada and other “allies” have made their decision but aren’t broadcasting it.

Racist does a racist thing (again), yet the excuses are rolled out (again). 🤷‍♂️

He was voted in by the majority of US voters so he does represent Americans. I’ve been on family holidays 8 times in the last 15 years. I won’t be back. I’m not tarring everyone with the same brush but the US is no longer a reliable ally or friend. Sad but true.

He is destroying your relationships with “allies”. Many in Europe now don’t even consider the US a friend and are actively avoiding US products.

After the comments from the WH this week I expect many will not be buying any product associated with the US where possible. The depth of feeling of betrayal in Europe should not be underestimated.

So much so that many are avoiding US products and vow never to holiday in the US again. The damage done might well be irreparable

I suppose the fact the Venezuela has the world’s largest oil reserves worth an estimated $19 trillion is purely coincidental. The United States of Greed.

No he’s not, but his SOL colleague Prof Kevin Knuth is, and he wrote a paper about the flight characteristics of the tic tac. Included were some simple calculations detailing the energy requirements of the tic tac as observed by the Nimitz and Princeton. I assume he’s referring to this.

So what kind of racist sexist things was he expecting from the bankrupt liar?
