🇬🇧 Do you know about Bridgy Fed, the tool that lets people from Mastodon servers on the Fediverse see and *interact* with your posts (without making another account!) ? I would love for it to be used more, so let me tell you why I think it's cool! ⏬🇫🇷 Version française dans les réponses 🇫🇷⏬ #BridgyFed

You can use Bridgy to :

Reconnect with Friends, acquaintances, creators you like or look up to, and that may have left Twitter (and other corporate social media) to settle on a "Mastodon instance", or another server of the Fediverse.

Extend the reach of your posts, as the Fediverse hosts millions of users. Some communities have an especially strong culture of sharing.

Discover new people, that may not be on Bluesky natively.

Riding the waves of migrations away from corporate billionaire-owned social media created a little chasm, that may have separated communities between the Fedi and bluesky (and people still on Twitter* and such).

Bridgy Fed fills this gap.

Picture showing a basic interaction between a Bluesky user and a Fedi user. From a Bluesky post, a brief exchange happens, without neither of the Bluesky nor the Fedi user leaving their platform of choice. At the end, I try to put it in perspective by explaining that this is interesting because it's as if this interaction happened between a Bluesky user and a Twitter user, without them leaving their platform

Corrupted Druid
Illustration of a snowy forest, at night, dark
With only a bluish lighted moon, behind a huge creature
wich has a bear build body, with dark brown fur, spiked bones around his neck and chest, attached to his ribs. His head is only bones, cranium of a bear, while he screams loudly and shatters an iron shield with his huge claws
The poor soldier, has a damaged armor and some blood coming out, raising the shield in a last hope to survive

Under the mask 9x12 pen and paper #surreal #macabre #PenAndPaper #TraditionalArt #DarkSurrealism #DarkArt #Art #InkSky #GrimDark

Pen drawing of a face covering most of the page starting from the right set against a black sky shot through with cracks of white light that puts the face in sharp contrast. The face is made up of many different components and shapes. One eye is solid black, the other is white with a pulse like pattern while the raw, textured bio-mechanical surface is exposed to the air. A glowing gem like structure sits at the third eye, surrounded by stretched over bubble textured skin, both are over vaguely metallic cybernetic components. Under where the nose would be is a smaller face, eyes jet black with oval metallic speaker grills center, left and right with spindly, bony hands holding a gem like structure under the mouths with the legs underneath them and it flows down into a neck of thick strand of bio-mechanical tendons.

Hello, BlueSky! Today is my birthday! As the age-old tradition dictates, I'll share some artworks and if you'd like to repost as a gift I'd appreciate that very much. I hope you have a great day! 🥰

Digital painting of a nature god. He has dark brown skin, long dark red hair and green eyes. He's naked, only wearing a flower crown and is covered with a large white snake with red diamond patterns.

Digital painting of a faun boy in a pond. He has brown skin with white spots, akin to a deer's coat. He has blonde hair and blue eyes and small antlers on his head. He stands hip deep in a magical pond, holding a small blue fairy in his hands. Waterfalls feeds the pond, surrounded by otherworldly deep teal leaves and bushes with purple flowers.

Digital painting of a fairy mid-flight. She has brown skin, copper red hair in a high ponytail, and amber eyes. She's dressed in clothes made of leaves and grass, and armor made of bark. She has large, iridescent dragonfly wings on her back and aim a bow at something off-screen. The background is a blurry sunlit forest, giving the illusion of movement.

Digital full body painting of Serara from my book WIP. She's a plus size dark skinned young woman with dark curly hair and green eyes. She's dressed in a blue tunic with purple and gold pattern and blue pants. A green scarf is draped over her shoulders and she has a pink bag slung over her shoulder. The background is mostly white with a photo of a misty forest in a pale teal color.

'First Portrait in Oils' Oil on canvas I could have worked on this longer to refine and correct but its purpose is a study, and I'm ready to move on after what I learned. #TraditionalArt #Portraiture reference from @grafitstudio.bsky.social

An oil portrait of a light-skinned man with dark blond hair. He wears a white chiton ad golden leaf crown, holding a hand to his face with a moody expression. He glows with a golden hue around the highlights.
