www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykMz... Absolutely love that despite Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris singing close harmony, each of their voices still stands out. (Everything the three of them did is great, but this one is my favorite.)

bud cort was in my dream a few days ago. he was taking me around to meet his neighbors and kept changing outfits. I think I was annoying him a bit, I think he realized I'm 5 and was like "when are you going to wake up so I can go have fun?" at the end

I'm probably going to make a zine about harold and maude. I started writing a song about the production but i had to stop because I wanted to make sure my facts were right and if I'm going to research it, I may as well put the info in a zine

about how the museum is scary to me because of all it could be, it's hemorrhaging possibilities. every door I go through leads to more doors and sometimes I get lost or stuck

The Works Progress Administration was created in May 1935 as part of the New Deal to provide jobs to the unemployed during the Great Depression. One of the WPA’s most idealistic goals was to send books and librarians to areas where there were none. Read more: bit.ly/4hkgtNC #ALA150

I hadn't settled on one.. I was thinking about just putting my loops in a midi controller or getting a loop pedal for my guitar but I would like to be able to add other noises and incorporate a contact mic and I haven't really looked to deeply yet

I want to be able to record/control 1-3 loops live with guitar and mic as inputs and maybe include an effect pedal or two. I've looked at a bunch of options but honestly I'm a little overwhelmed and looking for good starter hardware recommendations .__.

do I know anyone with a looping station (guitar/vocals/maybe a contact mic) here? I'm looking for advice on what works best

some more info about FHG from the halloween museum zine:

CONTACTING FORT HALLOWEEN GEODE

"Fort Halloween Geode" is the last remnant and outpost of Hallowe'en spirit at the end of all history.

It's known denizens include:

Fritz, the caretaker Dandelo (not pictured), bandleader PMÖHCRAG, thespian PINRUT, turnip

I have begun the process of creating puppet bodies for them all as they reveal themselves, so that we may better communicate across the eons.

It is my earnest hope that the museum, in my span and the spans of those who follow me, will survive to be a part of FHG in some form, however faded.

To that end, we intend to solicit and harbor a repository of "Hallowe'en statements" collected from the public.

The infrastructure for this feat of Hallowe'en fortification is already being created!

I keep sharing this for three reasons: 1. Astraea. 2. Animation is something I've been interested in for years, and have been figuring out how to do (on my own, over the years) - and I'm really proud of how smooth this little video turned out. 3. Healing. See thread.
