It's really common to get stuck in jail for years with no real evidence against you just as a way to get you to plead out so they can pad their numbers. 010

Prosecutors love to drag people through the system and after two years in jail for a crime you didn't commit you'd probably plead guilty too in order to get a deferred disposition. 110
