My great uncle passed away overnight and my heart hurts for my grandma today. She is the only one of her siblings left and took it hard. Definitely feeling down today as I think of my sweet extended family. 💔

Had a really awful day (again) and no one in my family seems to care that I am emotionally hanging on by a thread. I am one minor inconvenience away from an emotional breakdown. I am seriously questioning why I decided to torture myself and become a teacher.

To make this so much worse...after my 6th period nearly sent me to tears I dropped a stack of our biology textbooks on my foot. The foot I had surgery on 2yrs ago and has hardware in it. It's swollen and it hurts.

The past 24hrs have been the worst for our little farm. None of Clover's babies survived. Our 4Her is so sad and I feel completely blindsided with guilt and the sudden feeling of incompetence. I am not new to rabbits. Not even close. This one stung. 😞

Babies survived the night but Clover did not feed them. I don't even think her milk is in. They are too weak for me to try syringe feeding. 🥺 What a nightmare situation. I am still baffled how I missed her pregnancy despite palpating her twice. Those babies were good and hidden.

We had surprise babies at the farm. Clover, who i I SWORE was not pregnant....very much was. Six babies...4 DOA. Two i was able to warm up and give back to her and she potentially has one or two more left to come. 🥴🫩🫠 Have a farm I said...it'll be fun I said...

I am down just shy of 30lbs since December. I am honestly feeling the best I've felt in easily a decade. I have more energy, I'm feeling better about myself. Yesterday I got a gym membership so I can have some ME time 2-3x a week. I finally just decided to prioritize myself.

I am allowing alarmingly large wolf spiders to live on the window sill of my rabbit barn because of flies, but if they don't start earning their keep I'm gonna have to evict them. 😵‍💫 Though I suspect they are so large because they are eating well. They could eat better. Still too many flies.

Grayson had to go with my parents while they took my brother for a medical procedure. Apparently he really didn't like that uncle had to go by himself when he was called back for his procedure. 🥺 My brother is the only uncle they really know since we are LC with Jer's fam. Current status of my belgian hares. Poppy is currently in the crazy doe stage. Looking forward to her calming down in the next few months. Red is the calmer of the two and is very patient. Hoping to get updated pics this week. They've grown into their adult coats beautifully!

Maybe just me being salty but seeing influencers getting to demo the game (and bragging about it with their exclusive swag) really irritates me. In fact PAX has really turned into a giant influencer event. So much so that influencers were getting to cut lines. Lots of people angry about that.

Tired. Sore. Exhausted. Our last day at fair is tomorrow. It's bittersweet. We love our time at fair with our 4-H community, but Wes and I are both really exhausted. Tomorrow he leaves the county fair for the last time as a cloverbud. Next year he is a junior! 🥹

Today my dad was reminiscing about my years at the same county fair I am now with Wesley at. Those were some of my best memories, and according to my dad his as well. 🥹 Now it doesnt suprise me that he's so into my rabbit project...it's nostalgic for him.
