My very first & My latest digital portrait Not that much has changed in about 15 years, huh?

Snizhilda ⬩ fantasy artist @snizhilda.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I first tried oil paints pretty late, when I was studying at university, and for my first attempt, I decided to practice by making a copy of Salvador Dalí’s “Meditative Rose” (I’m a huge fan of his). Some process photos below.

I was told to brag, so I’ll give it a try. This is a pencil portrait on old paper (literally, I got it from my grandpa). I drew it for a friend 5 years ago, and I think it's the peak of my pencil drawing skills :)

I don't know why, but I'm SO bad at self-promotion, guys. Literally, new accounts I see somehow get attention and interactions from the first posts. They gain more followers in months than I gain in YEARS. Like I just don't know some secret cheat code.

Once in a 100 yrs I take part in smth... #GenieDTIYS from @vgen.co! I just want a badge! Not exactly my style but I tried to follow the original proportions, as the rules asked... I hope this is correct, bс after finishing I saw that others did not repeat the lines so precisely х)

#HappyValentinesDay, and true pure love to everyone! I didn't finish the illustration for Valentine's Day bc of commissions and irl, so I'll post an old spicy sketch. #art

Also, I still don’t really get what “semi-realism” is. I say I draw in this style bc I know my art isn’t detailed or skilled enough to be called realistic yet. But I’m confused, bc it seems like ppl call even lineart semi-realistic. I’m not mad about it - just want to understand, where am I? #myart

Smts I hear ppl say that realistic art isn’t interesting bc it’s “just copying.” But for me, realism is a way of depicting smth fictional as if it really existed. I want to show what my, your, or even a cartoon character would look like in real life. (1/2) ⤵️ OC dragon WIP, btw #artmoots

✩ I really need to post more sketches 👀 Here's a commission WIP!

An art commission work in progress picture: A sketch of an imposing, regal, vampire woman OC holding a cane. She sports a spiky corset, poofed sleeves and a ruffled skirt coupled with various adornments.

Six! years ago, I wanted to try DTIYS and started drawing this wonderful witch by @/tasia.m.s from IG. But I never finished or published it. It moved with me to a new country, to a new laptop, and I still hoped to finish it. Well, maybe it's time to let her go. Better late than never :D #artmoots

Placidusax in his prime version. I'm not a big fan of Elden Ring specifically, but I love Souls-like games, so this was really fun to draw! #artmoots #myart #eldenring
