I started writing a song after watching the Los Angeles protests on the TV news and socials, like we all are I guess. I am not looking to gain from this horrendous situation, it's just how I try to begin to make sense of the madness that is going on in the USA. How are you lot doing? xx

For clarity on the #protests in #LosAngeles As for the city being overrun, the protests are circled below. Thanks David for this.

It's usually because you suddenly laser focus on what you are seeing the doctor for, rather than doing your best to put it to the back of your mind day to day

I’m going back to go forward. I’d recently recorded an EP & demoed an album, but even though the songs themselves were pretty good I felt they needed a little more #lofi magic and #wonky texture. I’m excited about what’s to come and getting to share my new works with you soon #tascam #microcosm xx

Whatever you do, don’t buy this coffee. Not because it’s unsafe or dangerous, but because it’s shite and tastes of a lifetime of disappointment. You’re welcome

What are your best songs to lift you up?

000

snippetcuts @snippetcuts.bsky.social · 19/04/2025

Certainly jazz, blimey so many genres after that. A fave would be from Marvin Gaye or Ian Dury and the Blockheads. Though mood at the time dictates. For consistent plays in last few years is Sweet Baboo- The Boombox Ballads
