I miss the cyber maximalist aesthetic of the early 2000s.

I think a number of developers underestimate how willing players are to play video games that look like video games. Many would gladly enjoy games graphically similar to 2004-2010 as long as they look crisp with minimal compression artifacts and modern resolution at ~60+FPS

Finally made the smashburger I’ve been planning for a long time: the Bravas Burger inspired by the my favorite Spanish tapas dish Patatas Bravas! Two cheesy smash burger patties on top of a potato pancake with a saffron bravas aioli and serrano jamon onion jam!

If I could develop an entirely self-indulgent game I would make a Quake inspired boomer shooter with real claymation/stop motion characters and monsters. The choppy frame rate animation of Quake is charming to me and I'd want to punch that all the way up.

Mario Kart is one of my favorite series ever— and I’m actually shocked and excited they went open world. I predicted (in 2021) the next step for Kart racers would be the Forza Horizon model with more interactions and challenges between tracks but didn’t expect Nintendo to need to do it to win.

I grew up watching the 1967 Fantastic 4 animated series so honestly the new movie is more exciting for me than most any MCU project to date. I get it may not be for everyone but it’s something specifically for ME that I never expected to exist.
