Love getting cards in the mail but the pink paper choice makes me think I’m behind on a bill or something

Made the finals of a “Bracket 3” tournament (which ended up being cedh-lite) this weekend on Avatar Aang. I built it around Agatha’s soul caldron and marvel flip legends as an additional way to flip aang outside of moonmist. I’m going to explore it further in actual cedh

Is it bad that I wanted to go to a magiccon this year and Atlanta could work but I also don’t want to because it’s mainly Star Trek themed.

Ireland and music fans around the world lost an absolute gentleman today. If you have never watched “once” or listened to Glens music I highly recommend you do.

Probably too slow for Magda in cedh but could definitely make you some treasures

I’ve been invited to a bracket 3 tournament & have been told it’s competitive and to build within the limitations while ignoring the intent of bracket 3. Which feels like it defeats… I would like to do well and beat some sweaty’s. Does anyone have any spicy “bracket 3” decks they would recommend?

I’m not sure how I feel about this if this practice is continued. On one hand early bird gets the worm but this is just increased feelbad for the non terminally online players. (I missed this announcement and now have to overpay?)

I went 3-0 at this afternoons pre-release with a sweet pool. I pulled 2 of each of the merfolk lord and kithkin uncommons so went with a bant typal build and used oko to support my creature type buffs!

Bittersweet. My LGS let me know that the Sunday prerelease they intended to fire ( that I was hoping to attend) may not fire due to running out of kits. They normally get 8 players for Friday prerelease but tonight they had to turn people away after 36. Clearly magic players want in universe sets

First sketch of 2026! It’s been a while I used actual pen instead of digital. This combined with lack of patience and being left handed means a couple smudges but whatever. Cardboard is expensive and proxy’s are cool!

Probably late to the party on this one, but I really liked it so I'm bringing it back! My sketches are full of bad anatomy and other issues. Gotta get the idea down and test it before I spend 40-100+ hours sculpting references, photographing models, drawing, and painting.

On the left is a meme, it says "Just make it exist first" with a blue blob and a poorly drawn outline then it says "You can make it good later" with a perfect blue circle and outline. To the right top is a rough sketch of the character Wrenn and Seven from MTG. Below is a tightly rendered oil painting of the same character and composition.
