Remember that really tiny e-reader I showed off a few months ago? Well they make a smaller one now that fits on the back of every iPhone with MagSafe

After months of trying different suppliers and even hiring a material scientist, we’ve developed what I’m confident is the best microfiber ever. Inspired by Apple’s Polishing Cloth, Copland’s Cloth Pro Max is WAY bigger and cheaper—plus I also think it’s just a better cleaner—safe on all displays!

The folks at @boschglobal.bsky.social make a ton of cool stuff—from sensors in your phone and your car to technology that literally scans the unique surface characteristics of products to identify products without serial numbers. Bananas! #ces2026 #ad #sponsored

Tomorrow is the last day to order a Five Flavors keycap with arrival before Christmas! Treat yourself (or the nostalgic nerd in your life) to some color! Get them at copland.supply

We spent months on these and our supplier had to develop new techniques for our multi-material resin layering. The micro‑sized keyboard has every key fully formed, the CD eject button is perfectly color‑matched, and even the rear foot nibs and power jack are present! copland.supply

My 128K keycaps are SOLD OUT—but you can still save on the G3! The 128K keycap are great, but the G3 is next level. For example: the colored shell is actually transparent and the mouse and keyboard have 50-micron wires (thinner than hair!) attaching to the Mac correctly.

There are Vision Pros selling on eBay for literally $1,500. Almost nobody should buy it for $3,500, but for less than half of that, it makes for a pretty compelling face TV.

I am now an owner of the world’s finest toaster: a Sunbeam Radiant Control. 6-years-ago, @techconnectify.bsky.social got me hooked on owning one, but finding one in good shape was fruitless. So, I bought one beat-up and sent it to Tim’s Toasters for a full restoration. He did perfect work!

Apple's Self Service Repair Store really hit me with a "you didn't return the tool kit" bill… after I literally returned it. Bold move for a company that sent the wrong display adhesive and failed to include the required parts tray. 🫠

Couldn't get a Switch 2 travel dock delivered via Amazon overnight, so I just modded the original one thanks to this awesome 3D print file. Looks and works great

I figured I'd try the Vision Pro to do dishes in passthrough mode. Yikes… Sure, when this thing launched everyone was blown away by the camera quality because it was better than anything else. But "better than terrible" doesn't make it good. It's great at full-immersion VR. Not AR.

Split Fiction uses rumble so often the Switch 2 Pro Controller linear vibration motors overheat and shut off.

Will Apple sell you the parts you need to upgrade your glossy iPad Pro Display to the Nano-Texture one? Yes! Will they send you the right parts to do it? No! And should you pay $600 to do it? Absolutely not!! Video soon! (they legit sent me the wrong parts tray and wrong adhesive)

Baby girl is six months old today. Absolutely wild how slow and how insanely fast it has gone. She loves to smile and laugh, tummy time, animals and baths. She doesn't like naps, car rides, or apples.

I was today years old when I learned Find My actually uses ARKit for velocity estimation to assist the UWB antennas (as the accelerometer/gyro are biased and unreliable when the object being tracked is in a non-equal motion). TL;DR this screen isn't just for the visualization.

You guys have no idea idea how hard it is to find a phone that nobody gives a crap about in decent condition. This acquisition is 6-months in the making! Video coming eventually on Intel's massive x86 Android failure.

Organizing the office and came across this old 5820K build from 2014. This is the singular reason I love ASRock. Putting an ENORMOUS LGA2011 socket on a TINY mini-ITX board is a preposterous idea, but they did it. And it was amazing.

Ubiquiti certainly didn't intend for this Switch Pro XG 8 PoE to be installed in a filthy attic that's already pushing 145 degrees, but I didn't have much of an option! So far, it's working great powering two WiFi 7 access points and two cameras with a 2.5GbE backhaul!

Ubiquiti's EV charging stations do load sharing like Tesla's Wall Connectors, but you also get neat historical statistics that show you things like "hey, both of our cars combined used $140 of electricity combined last month. Not too shabby!"

I've spent the last… well the last long while creating an homage to the 1984 Macintosh! It's 3D printed, has a laser-cut cork foot, Easter eggs like the hidden signatures from the original and more! It's an amazing little ~$100 machine! Find out more on YouTube!

You can buy 2ga aluminum SER wire that's just $2/ft and rated for well over that load (90A @ 75°C) and isn't that much trickier than 6ga THHN armored MC (which is $5/ft and isn't available at big box stores). Bought 40 ft of cable to wire up a new EVSE for just $88!
