Ages ago, I applied for SCAD HK. Even with a scholarship, it would’ve been financially ruinous. The BFA I’m pursuing now is gov subsidized. That said, almost everyone here has a degree these days. I’ve no illusions it’ll change my career. I’m pursuing it purely for my own curiosity and satisfaction.

At this point, I’m almost certain that my neurodivergence is playing tricks on me. Assignments I expect to do well in, turn out otherwise; while those where I go, “let’s fuck around and find out,” score better. I clearly have no idea how society operates.

For those that stayed, Who never waver, In stars were paid, Rewards to savor. A fitting end to 14 years of Guild Wars 2 - a game that got me through plenty of tough times and uncertainty; but provided a constant sense of routine and goals. ❄️Japan 2026 After driving back from our hot spring holiday up in the mountains, @snares.bsky.social introduced me to one of the best refuelling spots I have ever put into my belly. There’s nothing like stuffing your face into a steaming bowl of deliciousness on a winter’s day.

Sometimes you’ll find folks who are not good for your mental health or wellbeing. Maybe it’s not even their fault or out of malice, but because you neglected your own boundaries and principles. I can only blame myself for losing clarity and resolve. Rent is not cheap. I want to choose inner peace.

For a long while, I wasn’t sure what being in my 40s meant, not especially in this current dystopian landscape. Then, I saw how the very support network that got me through tough times has all but disappeared, and realized what I needed to do moving forward.
