Ok, got some clarity. Generally it IS ok to take pics in public as long it's not voyeurism, but there are some GDPR issues if the individual in the photo is identifiable:

From the Policing.uk website regarding photography in public places:

"Harassment and data protection - Persistent targeted photography of an individual may constitute harassment under s.2 or s.4 of the Protection from Harassment Act 1997, particularly where is causes alarm or distress. Additionally where photographs are pricessed in a way that identifies individuals, data protection obligations under the UK GDPR may apply, though personal photography for domestic purposrs is generall exempt."

Ok, I didn't draw this one today, I drew it a few months ago when I was stuck on my bed with a broken leg in a cast. My friend loves pigeons and asked me to draw one for her. So here it is. #DrawABird

Had a bash at a linoprint reduction this week while off work. Had fun stabbing away at the lino to try to get the murmuration effect of hundreds of starlings all swooping as one. But so many mistakes, still very much learning how to do this, and this one is the best of a bad bunch. #Linoprint #Art

Ireland and Britain share a lot of cultural overlaps, and also a few key differences (Rock the Boat vs Oops Upside Yr Head), But as a Brit living in IE for over 20 yrs I've concluded that #CrispPacketTriangles are perhaps the biggest shibboleth. It's the highest form of British #Origami. #IYKYK

Brown paper bag folded up into a neat triangle. A practice as old as time, handed down from generation to generation in special ceremonies held in British beer gardens every summer. Usually as soon as the first packet of salt and vinegar crisps has been demolished by bored children.

Over on the other place I would occasionally post pics of what CD I had playing. Today, after a week of playing their new song Spike Island on a daily basis, I've gone back 30 years (god really? Ouch!) to #Pulp's #DifferentClass CD. And yes, I did get one of the 'Choose Your Own Cover' editions!
