Finally got around to completing Silent Hill 2, very good as you can imagine. However one thing I noticed is that the game is VERY foggy. James should’ve just waited for summer so he could craft a beach physique and let the weather clear up. Would’ve made his life a lot easier

This game is too good to be this under talked about. Scratched the itch left by Alien Isolation perfectly and probably one of the only horror games I’ve played that was scarier in the SECOND half than the first. I just hope it doesn’t take 13 more years for a sequel lmao

I will say, I feel like the subcategory awards at The Game Awards could use some tweaking. They always seem to default to the GOTY nominee when it should be a bit more nuanced Like Hades 2 is a better game than Ninja Gaiden 4, but I ALSO think NG4 is a better ACTION game than H2

This game was bananas and probably in my top 3 that I’ve played this year. Only issue was that the Ninjas didn’t do a lot of Gaiden in this game, it was mainly the side characters Gaiden you around everywhere. Very deceptive title. Video at end of the month btw I promise

Unreal 5 tends to have this issue where some games look great, whereas others look super plastic-y and this Halo CE Remaster definitely falls into the latter camp to me. A lot of it comes down to art direction, which is why maybe letting 90% of your art team walk was a bad idea

There’s a lot of discourse around Silksong “being too hard” and wanting an easy mode since a lot of enemies do 2 masks of damage. Which I get, but I have yet to see anyone suggest the obvious solution to this Make everything do THREE masks of damage. Get them to lock the fuck in
