He rolls his eyes and sets his phone aside. “I told you, I’ve seen Princess Mononoke four times. You’re the one who’s never seen it!”

“But we said we’d watch together.”

“Rika and I are watching,” Yuuta chips in helpfully.

“Exactly, and you’re over there texting!”

“I’m texting and watching,” he defends.

“Who are you texting anyway?” Yuuta asks.

Rika rolls her eyes. “Be serious, Yuuta. You know he’s texting Choso.”

Toge huffs in annoyance. So what if he is?

“You said you wouldn’t catch feelings.”

“I distinctly remember that conversation.” Yuuta nods. “You said, ‘it’s just sex, I will not be catching feelings.’” He even adds airquotes.

“Yuuta with the direct quote!” Rika leans further into him and kisses his cheek. “I knew I loved you!” She turns back to Toge. “But you! You’re sitting over there, texting him and blushing and smiling.”

“You look like someone who’s caught feelings.”
