I am elbows deep into cutting a BIG PUZZLE. It is so much fun to be able to spend a long day in the puzzle studio.

Here's an idea of how I can make your puzzle truly for you! This puzzle was ordered for a summer holiday at a lakeside cottage. No wifi was part of the deal. Puzzles, books and vinyl records filled the evenings.

A client asked me to include a honk as a whimsy in her puzzle. I had seen these little creatures but I had never heard their name! Some honks for your puzzling pleasure.

Brownie 911 So sometimes you simple must have a treat. This is perfect and done so fast! 3 Tbs. Sugar 3 Tbs. Flour 1.5 Tbs. Cocoa powder Pinch of salt Stir with a fork then mix in 1.5 Tbs. Melted butter 3 Tbs milk Zap for 45 seconds in the micro and you now have a brownie in a mug.

Another custom puzzle! This one is a lovely water colour. In the photo I have pulled out the whimsies to show you how these pieces fit into the overall pattern. I cut a flower out by creating a negative space within the jigsaw puzzle. The design is only visible once the entire puzzle is completed.

Here is a puzzle I created a few years ago. I still am entranced with this image. The second close up shows how different a hand cut puzzle looks compared to a stamp cut cardboard puzzle.

Whimsies include puzzle pieces shaped like a deer, crocodile, swan, cowboy boots,unicorn, maple leaf,hummingbird, rabbit, candle, and swan. Huzzah!! My saw is back from the shop. The errant switch is still stuck in the postal strike BUT I have a technical fix. Notice the big yellow box on the side? That is my switch for the present. Now on to make some puzzles!!!

Here's a custom puzzle from a few years ago. This was so much fun! The husband commissioned a puzzle from me as a gift for his wife (a wildlife photographer). The image was one of her own photos and I created some whimsies relating to her profession. Lots of fun!
