Eigenlijk stond een stuk Pieterpad op het programma vandaag, maar mijn intuïtie vertrouwde de treinen niet. En zo kwam ik voor mijn dringende wandelbehoefte terecht op het Nederlands Kustpad tussen Den Haag en Katwijk. Ook mooi en gevarieerd!

Heden ten dage was het voor @Stephanie en mij tijd voor de derde etappe van #MissieMestreech, een relatief korte 17,4 km over het Pieterpad van Zuidwolde naar Rolde. Een pad dwars door heerlijke natuurgebieden van Drenthe waaronder het schitterende Balloërveld.

Brede zandweg die licht afbuigt in een bos.

Pad door een weiland op weg naar een brug over de Aa naar een bos.

Brede zandweg door een heideveld met een paar bomen en een dikke grijze wolk.

Smal pad door gras naar een bosje, in de verte de kerktoren van Rolde.

It works! 22 years after final approval, tram 19 is in use for the general public on the TU Delft (mo-fr 7:00-19:00 every 15 minutes) 🎉

At first I was more interested in the Altbau locomotive with zebra striping, but the 189 locomotive at the front of the train is still in that weird yellow colour from Siemens Dispolok, which is probably even rarer nowadays.

Schedule for line 19 in the morning, leaving Delft Station at 06:56, 07:11, 07:27 and 07:42 and serving the stops Zuidpoort, Julianalaan, Aula, Mekelpark, Berlageweg en Schoemakerstraat in 11 minutes.
