And surprise! I've also released a remaster of my old original album Sturgeon's Law. I always hated the original master, so I've redone it - and added an additional five unreleased tracks from the same era! Buy it on Bandcamp here: smuffy.bandcamp.com/album/sturge... or stream on Spotify!

This week we're also going to get back to reconstructing the Dark Crystal soundtrack edit - I reckon I jumped the gun last week and we should probably finish what we started before we try to work on the music 😅. After that it'll be sampling, THEN remixing 🙃

Smuffy @smuffymusic.bsky.social · 28/04/2025

Last week's stream VOD is still on the way! Just taking a bit longer because I need to string multiple files together (among other things).

The new update for Fret's Quest was just released - it's got about 3x as much music as the original, all by yours truly! Check it out here: outerwildsmods.com/mods/fretsqu... Stay tuned for an extended OST release in the near future!

Thanks to all who turned up to the stream today! Unfortunately it looks like I had Twitch set to not save the VOD for some reason 😭 Luckily I recorded it, so I will look into some way to get it onto YouTube. The thing is 90GB though, so it might be a while 😅

Honestly, this might be the start of re-listing the old livestreams on the main channel and deleting the VODs from Smuffy Extra. Now that YouTube keeps livestreams in a separate tab, keeping VODs on the main channel won't be as untidy as it used to be. I'll keep you all posted 😁

030

Smuffy @smuffymusic.bsky.social · 20/03/2025

Welp, it looks like YouTube reeeally doesn't like the VOD for last week's stream for some reason. I'll try again later, but in the meantime I'll keep the original up on the main Smuffy channel. Sorry folks!

Smuffy @smuffymusic.bsky.social · 16/03/2025

Also, I've just noticed my mic was peaking pretty heavily for most of the stream 😶 that will definitely be fixed for next time 😅

Smuffy @smuffymusic.bsky.social · 16/03/2025

For those who couldn't make it, the VOD will be up on Smuffy Extra sometime this week. In the meantime, you can watch it on my main channel here: www.youtube.com/live/Fb1OWt9...

Hey folks, just one last update to say that the cyclone has passed, and I am okay. I’ll see you all in the livestream this weekend! 😄

061

Smuffy @smuffymusic.bsky.social · 07/03/2025

Just realised my wording might've been a bit confusing there, by 'it' I meant Cyclone Alfred 😅.

Smuffy @smuffymusic.bsky.social · 07/03/2025

UPDATE: I think I have to delay the stream until next week 😭. The wait for it to arrive has been agonising, and I'll need some time to get myself back into a good enough headspace for streaming once it's over. Sorry folks, but I'll see you same time next week!

140

Smuffy @smuffymusic.bsky.social · 04/03/2025

Just a heads up folks! Looks like Cyclone Alfred is heading for Brisbane. I am safe, but depending on how our power infrastructure fairs I might have to delay the stream until next week. I’ll keep you posted!

Thanks Gemma it's great to hear from you! Whether I make more remixes or not, I'll definitely be making more original music - I've already got the beginnings of another album in the works. I hope your animations and comics are going well! 😁

Sonic OVA Fandub : Mr Kingalocious : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive

This is the Sonic OVA Fandub made entirely from scratch by Mr Kingalocious in 2016 on YouTube was unjustly taken down around 2021/2022 due to Japan copyright...

That's a neat idea actually. I'll have to look into it 🤔

I could've disputed it back then, but I was kinda scared of getting a copyright strike 😅 (or three, given the number of videos that were blocked). I might take another look at it soon though, still got to figure out if I want to take that risk 🤷

Hey man, good to hear from you! Are you talking about the OVA Fandub? Because yeah, all those videos got blocked due to copyright. It seems the distribution rights moved to a Japanese streaming site some years back and they really don't want the movie on YouTube 😢.
