It's fully off by default, figured people wouldn't want to be exposed by default when implementing the feature.

I'm pretty sure that's what it does lol, it's just really slow. The system partition on iOS is already read only and immutable, macOS does that for updates and I'm fairly sure iOS does too. It's just really fucking slow for some reasons.

Zoey @smolzoey.moe · 11/12/2024

I'm pretty sure it does that, just in a very painfully slow way.

It's been a really smooth browser for me so far and I absolutely love the layout it offers, it's especially goated on vertical monitors which I use heavily.

Most real shit, I'd absolutely use Python a lot more if packages management wasn't so fucking dogshit.

Could give .NET Core a try maybe for this file sharing thingy, could make up for a fun learning experience at the same time...

Zoey @smolzoey.moe · 05/12/2024

Could use Golang I suppose but not sure if I wanna bother with that either.

Zoey @smolzoey.moe · 05/12/2024

Trying to decide on the stack for that file sharing project, Elixir (with Phoenix) would be nice but it's so much setup required, I was thinking Dart + Vue frontend but Dart lacks a good ORM, I don't wanna deal with Node and setting up everything for a Typescript project...

I wanna make self-host catbox.moe like solution that's as simple as it needs to be while not lacking features. I just wanna be able to log in, drag and drop a file and get a link to share easily, it can either expire or not. As simple as it gets on god.
