There is now book for managing Witchy and Witchy-related products. Godot's 9 patch rect didn't quite cut it so I made my own 15 patch rect node and oops also a custom tab container setup that will show in the future. #gamedev #indiedev #smolmushroomancer

The farming loop is more or less back. I don't really want to bog down players when charging up spells to use in the field so they're free to move around while doing so. Three spells have been added that will greatly speed things up once upgraded. #gamedev #indiedev #smolmushroomancer

As part of adding npcs to the game, I've now come to the point where I have to decide how they communicate with the player. Half of me wants to do emotes only based on player input, half of me thinks symbols could be misinterpreted and should do text. Thoughts? #gamedev #indiedev #smolmushroomancer

I think I'm getting the hang of Unity maybe. Cooking and assembling has been recreated. Unity's scriptable objects made the resource management side of things super easy and now all the ingredients stem from a single prefab. #gamedev #unityengine #indiedev #burgers
