I declare Emily Lowan to be the winner of that debate, by a long shot. Clear plans to make a better British Columbia for all, and the change we so desperately need. Time to stop recycling old ideas that don’t work. #bcgreens #bcpoli

Some construction crews did show up at Bloor and Green Lanes, but they just left. We still need to stay vigilant and call out ATS Traffic for their role in endangering those who bike. #BikeTO #TOpoli #ONpoli #VisionZero

Turned out to be beneficial to confirm advanced voting location just before going as it’s at Crystal Garden not the closed Crystal Pool. One vote down, one more to go. #toomuchcrystal #yyj #victoriabc

Early morning. Dark. No coffee. Biking down Bloor. Approach UP station. Construction merges cars and bikes to single lane. Only car on road approaches at same time. A skunk crosses road directly in front.

Do not believe the internet. Listing a bike ride down Lansdowne Avenue as one of top things to do in Toronto is clearly misguided.

So after seeing Deltron 3030 open up with a short set for Gorillaz I am once again kicking myself in the ass for not seeing them on a recent stop in Victoria.

Both Uma and I are happy I went with my gut and checked her condition before trip. A flat tire, rear of course, almost foiled the trip for her. #brompton

Was especially sad to hear about the Sooke Brewery incident because I thought I’d have to boycott one of my favourite breweries. Then realized it was the non-oceanside brewery, so at least this isn’t the case. Support Sooke Oceanside Brewery! They’re amazing. #yyj #yyjbeer

The Raincoats self titled album is a classic, one of those releases that should be in everybody’s collection. It also makes for a fine #vinylsunday spin. #alternative #postpunk #vinyl #vinylrecords #nowspinning #vinylsky #musicsky

Tow truck driver had 5 other calls for Evo in the same week. If you decide to use, be sure to reverse park into spot, otherwise tow truck needs to drag car out because tires are locked when battery is low/dead.

A general warning for Evo carshare users. Use caution if taking to areas with limited phone reception (ie. around Mystic Beach). Issues with car batteries dying, possibly due to car sending out bluetooth signal. Evo doesn’t seem concerned, so I’ll never use again. #yyj

When I found a VHS tape (yes, I still have a VHS player) of Waking Ned Divine for 69¢ I was excited and ready to proclaim it the best 69¢ ever spent. To then learn it was on sale for 20¢! Could it get any better? Perhaps. The cashier didn’t feel it worth the effort so it was 0¢. Thanks Parksville!
