A few photos from the #snowbirds show. Didn't take many because I wanted to actually watch it. I chose a good spot as they did a low pass directly overhead, as did a small flock of geese who didn't want to be left out.

LOL. Victoria problems. Some person parked their shiny Mercedes in Cook Street Village & a peacock saw its reflection & attacked. So now someone has posted on a local Facebook page that, no, you weren’t keyed, a peacock hated their reflection. It’s scratched to all heck now! 🤷‍♀️ #yyj
If you parked your black Mercedes in Cook St. Village and came back to some fresh scratches... you weren't keyed. I regret to inform you that a peacock saw your car, saw his reflection in your car, and decided that guy needed to be dealt with. The good news: your paint job was apparently flawless enough to be mistaken for a mirror. The bad news: the peacock had absolutely no chill.
He is considered extremely handsome and dangerously territorial. Park at your own risk.
***For the record, I did not take these photos, and I've been told people tried to gently shoo it away, but it would come right back to the car for more. This post is in no way meant to drum up hate against the beloved peacocks
