Today is my first day off in 38 days. I'm going to the beach, I'm going to go antiquing, I'm going to spend time with my cat and my boyfriend, and the boys play tonight at Fitzy. It's the first 75 and sunny spring day of the season. And I'm going to make the most of it, god damn it.

Happy Black Spire Day. Here's the yearly reminder that I've been in a Star War or two. (May the Stars Light Your Way)

The music number for Sinners was absolute perfection. What a beautiful translation of the scene from movie to stage.

What is the scale of the map? Like traversing the world would take how long? Looks really cool!

I don't have Patriots gear to wear today, but I do have a shit ton of Dunkin' merch. And I think that's just about on par for supporting New England.

Messer leaving the Hearts actually has ruined my productivity for the day, I'm so upset.

There were a couple of times where I felt like he wasn't capitalizing enough when passed to/through. But he definitely has STYLE, and he has a grit I'll miss seeing, but excited to see him continue to grow and make moves in his career!

Thank you so much to @jaxlersr.bsky.social for making 5am at an apartment in Maine the absolute best. Get some well deserved sleep and good luck on the next run!

010

k8 @smilingstrange.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

Y'know, I think, truly, aren't the 5am hotels in Pittsburgh just the soft locks we made along the way? #AGDQ2026

best way to start the year is #AGDQ2026 !

Don't brave the horrors alone. FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft and legendary agent Leon S. Kennedy's terrifying and pulse-pounding journeys intertwine in Resident Evil Requiem, arriving February 27, 2026. 🌿 youtu.be/T54OWinnymM

k8 @smilingstrange.bsky.social · 12/12/2025

genuinely would have thought the opening of #thegameawards would have been towards the end- especially with the nominations and just the overall choice of song, good lord. What a performance.

Christmas Tree Challenge 2k25 is off to a fantastic start! One of my favorite days of the year with one of my best friends- we see every holiday display on WDW property! Finishing up the DAK resort area then on to springs!

I will forever be a Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade stan, if only for the Broadway features. Theater needs to be more accessible to everyone- having these small moments that bring it to the forefront are so important! These casts and productions work so hard! See more live theater, folks!!!!

Now that the Patriots are on a tear again- god I miss the 87 cent coffees on Monday at Dunkin after a Pats win.

k8 @smilingstrange.bsky.social · 17/11/2025

Brought two one snap camera to Hawai'i for some 90's vacation photos. Got one of them back. Apparently I can't take a picture with my mouth closed- but damn do I love these and can't wait for the prints.

030

k8 @smilingstrange.bsky.social · 26/10/2025

absolutely. It felt like a good send off for the team for the season as a draw could feel.

k8 @smilingstrange.bsky.social · 26/10/2025

Make some noise for the boys. Playoff bound. Make us proud. Die for the badge. Up the fuckin' hearts.

The Dunkin socials takeover by spidey is actually my favorite thing to happen this year on the internet tbh.

I love my friends dearly. But I hate being the only non tswift fan among them, and now I have heard enough ts for the year until next reunion. But at least I did get to play my show tunes and glee playlists. Since theres no way they'd listen to my normal playlist rotations, haha.

headed home after a week in Hawai'i. Aulani was beautiful and I got my Mickey musubis and had a beautiful birthday with my best friends.

k8 @smilingstrange.bsky.social · 11/10/2025

Rough loss from the boys of Maine today. But it's my birthday so I gotta buck up (and have multiple mai tais at a luau.)

I have realized that I do not know how to relax enough to enjoy a massage fully? I'm glad to have had this experience, but... I don't think I'd do it again. Even though I'm paying for it- I feel like I'm wasting the technician's time. Lol

020

k8 @smilingstrange.bsky.social · 09/10/2025

North Shore and the East side of the island was a treasure. Ready for the next few days at Aulani and celebrating my birthday with some of the best friends in my life.

Hotel room is freezing because one of my friends keeps it arctic. So it's hard to get out of bed.

First full day in Hawaii was filled with laughter, shave ice, and getting sand fucking everywhere in the rental car.

Traveling for vacation today. But I'm mooching off of a friend's ESPN+ to watch the boys while I'm on my flight. Defend Fort Fitzy. #UTFH

Emo night Portland was FINALLY announced today. And thank god it's the weekend I get back from Orlando. (They usually have a show every three months and I was sad if it was going to be another Halloween show I'd miss!)

I appreciate all of these 20 year anniversary tours because now I'm just median age at a show and not absolutely old as shit or young as shit. (Seeing Cartel tonight in Boston)
