Not done a lot of hobbying outside of testing Tone Pro, but did get roped into a blind bag contest. Fortunately I pulled out a Canoness so I can make this work. #minipainting #wip #nerdlings #paintingwarhammer

Decided I wanted to paint some Necromunda. Me from 8 years ago built these models like shit and gave them a terrible prime, so now I gotta do what I can with this. Skin has come out okay, even if my wet palatte was fighting me too. #minipainting #wip #nerdlings #necromunda #paintingwarhammer

Add two more to the roster. Finished Jean in basically one session. Only Psylocke, Cyclops and repainting Storm until it's done. I have an event on 1st November but I'm sure I'll finish before then easily #marvel #mcp #marvelcrisisprotocol #minipainting #nerdlings

I got her done. I phoned it in on the last few steps to get her finished since I lost so much momentum on the daggers. The hair was a fun change though. Her base is drying off so going to stick her on tomorrow. #minipainting #dnd #nerdlings

I must admit, I don't like how these daggers turned out. However, she's nearly done. #minipainting #wip #dnd #nerdlings

Quick and easy face painting. Not bad at all for three paints and only 10-15 mins of work. #minipainting #wip #dnd #nerdlings

Been working on something just as a fun little side project. Doing a lot of colour experimentation with her. I've been having a rough time mentally and the moments of respite I get pushing pigment and blasting music are nice. #minipainting #dnd #nerdlings #wip

Painted some skin for about an hour after getting home from Magic. Gonna need a lot more steps but looking good so far. #minipainting #nerdlings #wip

A bit of a gap but I've gotten back to painting my MCP. Finished Gambit and a good chunk of the way through Mystique now #marvel #mcp #marvelcrisisprotocol #minipainting #nerdlings

Finished him off. I love these sculpts and I'm glad my old colour scheme works well now. It's fast and efficient too. #paintingwarhammer #ageofsogmar #nerdlings

Taken some tome to test out a painting scheme for the new Ogors since these big bois are probably my favourite army and the new sculpts were too good to resist. Not taken very long and looks great so far. #paintingwarhammer #wip

I have finished off this archer who was proving to be so much more of a slog than I thought it would be. I also decided to complete a chaos dwarf to cleanse my palette. No painting for a few days now as I will be at VSF #paintingwarhammer #minipainting #dnd #ageofsigmar #nerdlings

Next project started at 54mm scale. I love working at this size and I wish I was part of a dnd game of any kind so I could make use of these. I also never posted the finished mage #minipainting #wip #nerdlings

Cannot be bothered to finish highlighting the metallics so I'm calling the chaos warrior done I think. Moving on to a Darkoath Savager I have and had the idea to sketch out tattoos to see how it looked. #minipainting #paintingwarhammer #wip

Made a start on trialling a simple colour scheme for my death guard using just a handful of paints. If you want the recipe so far just ask. #minipainting #paintingwarhammer #warhammercommunity #wip

I've been very much not active with painting, needed to recharge a little bit

Not done any hobbying the last week or so, been far too busy with DOA

No hobbying from me recently. Instead, I've been laying the foundations for DOA in the UK

I don't think that any sort of server exists currently, so I took it into my own hands. The DOA UK/IE server is now live! Feel free to come and join it! discord.gg/pSs7agKQbA

Whilst today will likely go down in infamy for the mainline FGC, I'm happy that more eyes are coming to DOA than ever. As for hobbying? Not much, but I've found myself back to where I started nearly 20 years ago. I love my Word Bearers. #minipainting #paintingwarhammer #wip

I didn't like the red tones from the airbrush, so have spent the last three hours tone shifting the red to something a bit more earthy. #minipainting #paintingwarhammer #wip

Quick and dirty paint job done. The P3 paints were behaving a little weird on the palette but I put that down to new bottle syndrome. Overall they are super vibrant and mix mostly really well, which I don't normally do. #minipainting
