Lumen confirms that it was Amnesty International that sent the DMCA strike. I will be contesting it as this document is a matter of public debate and abusing copyright in this manner to censor it is absolutely disgusting. What complete cowards.

I've never seen such an effort to censor a document as I have the Amnesty International report on gender critical groups because of JK Rowling. They removed the report from the Wayback Machine and now I got a DMCA strike on my Google Drive for having it. It was deleted and removed from my account.

Once again, there is no such thing as "sex-based rights" in human rights law. There never has been. What exists is a right not to be discriminated against because of your sex. Trans people hold that exact same right. The whole framework is nobody gets to be discriminated against for what they are.

Transphobia is what makes people insist that transitioning is a very serious negative outcome that should be suppressed/avoided at all costs. They can't let patients (w/ parents in the case of youth) decide that with their doctors because they're worried about having too many trans people around.

People need to remember, too, that these are the *successful* authors. The ones who are traditionally published trade authors. Those trying to break in, those published once and then couldn't get another contract, self-published authors and so on are not included. This is the top 1% of authors.
