I always think it's cool that, in the 2006 Nintendo Monopoly board, they feature beta screenshots of Super Mario 64

Smash Bros speculation during the Ultimate days, particularly during the DLC was truly a sight to behold

You know something that is interesting to think about in hindsight? With how much hate Fire Emblem gets from Smash Bros fans, it's funny to think that one of the biggest faces of the franchise, Captain Falcon was confirmed via Robin/Lucina's, Fire Emblem characters trailer back in the Smash 4 days

Bro this description from Nintendo's official website describing Kirby is so sad bro. They unironically hit him with the "guy from Smash Bros" 😭

SmashMarioPro2000 @smashmariopro2000.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

OMG THIS IS SO CUTE! 🥺 In a recent Famitsu article, the Splatoon Raiders devs confirmed an Easter egg that was previously undiscovered before. If you hold minus then do the button combination X > X > Y > B > A, the screen will have be in black and white with a crt-esqe filter to it and muffled audio

I went in my Gamestop looking for a copy of Metroid Dread and when I was there the cashier said "oh you don't want FE to another customer and said "oh we have 2 extras of the special edition" and I was like you know,I'll take one. Had no interest prior but I couldn't pass up an opportunity like this

With the "Nintendo has FORGOTTEN about Mario" memes back in discussion, I will forever find it funny that the render the image used in the thumbnail of it is literally named "Crying Mario for Lazy Game Journalists"

I noticed on the Undertale website that there was a misspelling of the word "anniversary" but I had this thought of "what if it was an intentional typo" like Glaceir since the last for are now "sasy" which is similar to "sassy," you know ..like a cat. Prolly just looking to deep into it lol

It is high key very concerning how many Nintendo fans/YouTubers still think Sakurai has a hand in the development of Kirby games when he only came back for Air Riders as a request from Nintendo and Hal. Like put some respect on Shinya Kumazaki, the current director of the Kirby series

It just occurred to me something, with Star Fox Adventures now on the GC NSO a new generation is about to experience the hell that was these 2 minigames

SmashMarioPro2000 @smashmariopro2000.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

I don't mean to get on a soap box about this but, the early years of the Switch 1 has done irreparable damage to Nintendo fans' expectations. They think"oh we got Odyssey, BOTW and Smash Ultimate early on"not realizing the reason they blew their load early was to make up for the Wii U's failure

160

SmashMarioPro2000 @smashmariopro2000.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Wait.....people were expecting 3D Mario and Smash Bros right after they had a huge focus on Ocarina of Time? I thought it was a joke

Had this thought while I was at work today but, if the Nintendo E3 2014 Robot Chicken sketches were made today, this guy would legit be a stand-in for Nintendo YouTubers going like "UGH GREAT ANOTHER JRPG SHOWCASE" "COME ON NINTENDO, GIVE US A 3D MARIO!" and culminating in "WHAT ABOUT SMASH BROS?"

051

It's wild to think that, as of now, this DK's old Final Smash and Mario's Down Smash animation in Ultimate resembling the boxart of Mario DDR have been the only representation that rhythm games have gotten in Smash Bros in terms of fighter representation

SmashMarioPro2000 @smashmariopro2000.bsky.social · 17/06/2026

I was chatting with some friends about this the other day,you can tell when Nintendo fans actually play the games and which fans only see games as a conversation piece to speculate about/make content of.It's very evident when they focus on games that we don't know about like Smash Bros and 3D Mario

I usually don't keep up with gaming discourse online (mostly cuz I find it a fool's errand) but I wish a sentiment regarding stuff like the Direct would be met with "this isn't for me"cuz that's genuine and not "DIRECT SUCKED NOT WHAT I WANTED!" As it's not only performative,it reeks of entitlement

It's down right hilarious that, a year into having GameCube games on NSO, not only is the CRT Filter showing Mario Sunshine despite not being on the service but the sounds are all from Mario Sunshine if you're using the GC controller. Like this is too funny to me

I was rewatching the Chapter 5 trailer for Deltarune and I was I KNEW I RECOGNIZED THAT ATTACK PATTERN! It's the light blue soul's attack from the Omega Flowey fight. Seems with this chapter seemingly being based on Asgore's flower shop; we'll have a fight based on each of the souls from Undertale

It's funny whenever I see so much confusion why 3rd parties get so much focus in the latest Directs when Nintendo LITERALLY LAID THIS OUT in a press release when the Switch 2 was coming out. Nintendo's finally caught up to their contemporaries in terms of 3rd parties so ofc they're going 2 flex that
