Connor had his first day of kindergarten today! He was cool as a cucumber because he was in young 5s last year and knows the elementary school routine — he’s so happy he got the teacher he wanted and his bestie from last year (a wee lass 🥰) is in his class too!

We are obsessed with Toledo metroparks. 😍 This one starts with a waterfall and has “rivers” and rock formations and fountains and it is the single coolest playground I’ve ever seen — my boys had an absolute blast! And it’s FREE??? 🙌

Yeah I brought out the boys’ winter/spring clothes that I’d already packed away since Michigan has had summer weather for a while now! It cracked me up to be packing long sleeves and sweats for July 😂

The highs here in Michigan will be almost 100 next week. We won’t be here, though — I’m packing for our vacation to a beach in Southern California. Shorts and tees, you ask? Nah. Mostly sweatshirts, jeans, and long sleeved shirts. 😅 Especially cause the ocean breeze makes it even cooler!

Book readers are gonna crucify me for this, but I’ve had a lot of time to think: I so deeply love that defying death/history/time is not unilateral in the show— not just Claire’s power saving Jamie, but their love saving EACH OTHER and bringing them back home. That’s how it should be. 🥹
