You know what, why not? I have shockingly few drawings of Wes fighting so this should fix that. I don't have many other fighting OCs though, so if anyone sees this and wants to join in, throw a SFW reference and a preferred number down below and I'll see what I can do ^_^ #FFF #FIGHTOBER2026

So that thing about Wes and Percival's 'long time rivalry'? Yeah, its total nonsense. Percival simply got jealous when Wes joined the gym he goes to and got more popular than him. Wes barely acknowledges him, despite constant prodding, seeing Percival as a bug that needs to be swatted sometimes.

A digital drawing of two anthropomorphic bird characters, Wes th blue jay and Percival the aarakocra. Percival pokes at Wes' cheek with a smug expression, attempting to provoke a fight by saying, "You're scared I'll win, aren't you?" Wes looks annoyed, and refuses to make eye contact with Percival.

Simply Ryan @smashbro918.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

New character time! This is Percival, an aspiring fighter who is absolutely insufferable about his combat skills (which are adequate at best), and wants nothing more than to be better than his 'long time rival', Wes.

A reference sheet for an Aarakocra character named Percival. The first page depicts him wearing a blue vest over a light gray shirt and dark gray pants. The vest has a breast pocket with the letter P embroidered on it in yellow.

The second page features Percival depicted in two more outfits. The first consists of a green tank top with gray trim, and matching shorts with a dark gray waistband, embellished with a gray letter P on the right leg. The other outfit features platinum-colored boxing gloves and dark teal shorts with platinum-colored trim, lightning bolt decals across the front, and a dark teal letter P in the middle of the waistband.

Remember to show those you love how much you care about them. Even the smallest of gestures could brighten their day.

Digital drawing of two anthropomorphic characters, Wes the blue jay and Rupert the chameleon. Wes sits on a locker room bench while Rupert stands to his side, pulling Wes into a hug with a smile. Wes leans into the hug, small tears in the corners of his eyes, and lightly holding onto Rupert's arm.

Those late night study sessions can sure take a lot out of you, can't they?

A digital illustration of two anthropomorphic characters, Rupert the chameleon and Wes the blue jay. Rupert has fallen asleep while studying late into the night, and Wes gently wraps a blanket over him with a soft smile.

Sometimes it's the quiet little moments that are the ones we remember most fondly

A digital drawing of two anthropomorphic characters, a blue jay named Wes and a chameleon named Rupert. The two are sitting in a dark room, illuminated by an out of frame light source, presumably a television screen. Wes has his arm wrapped around Rupert's shoulders, and Rupert leans closer to Wes, looking at him sweetly while holding a cup of hot cocoa.

These two have no business in a haunted house, I just thought it'd be funny, and it was ^_^ (Based on one of those haunted house reaction photos I've seen circulating around for a while)

A digital drawing of two anthropomorphic characters, Rupert the chameleon and Wes the blue jay. The two are shocked by something out of frame in a huanted house attraction, Rupert clutching onto Wes' arm in fear.

Simply Ryan @smashbro918.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Rupert isn't exactly the best with social interaction, so this was about a 10 on the anxiety scale for him (This is also one of the very first pieces I did when I decided to have these two be together ^_^)

A digital drawing of two anthropomorphic characters, Wes the blue jay and Rupert the chameleon. Rupert holds Wes' hands as Rupert confesses he's in love with Wes, looking frazzled while doing so. Wes stares back at him in surprise of this.

It's good to celebrate your partner's victories! At least, most of the time anyway😅

A digital drawing of two anthropomorphic characters, a blue jay named Wes, and a chameleon named Rupert. Wes appears slightly bruised after an mma match, but still smiles while Rupert hugs him in celebration of his victory.

An alternative version of the previous image, revealing that Rupert's hug is hurting Wes by putting pressure on a part of his body that is still sore from his fight. Wes' happy expression appears more strained an force as the word "Ow" repeats around him implying his inner thoughts.

180

So this won't be news to some, but Rupert and Wes are actually a couple! And one clearly is much more chill about it than the other ^_^

A digital drawing of two anthropomorphic characters, a blue jay and a chameleon, holding hands. The chameleon, Rupert, is showing signs of nervousness, slightly blushing with small sweat drops running down his face. while the blue jay, Wes, has a much more calm and muted expression

And here's another personal favorite of mine, the standoffish chameleon, Rupert! He's a student of something I've dubbed "Modern Alchemy", which is meant to be a blend of both magic and science.

A reference sheet for an anthropomorphic chameleon character named Rupert. The first page shows his main outfit, consist on a red and green shirt with a yellow squiggle in the middle, tan shorts and sandals, and a multicolored wristband on his right arm.

The second page of the reference sheet shows an alternate outfit for Rupert with a brown and light grey raglan shirt, dark gray sweatpants, light grey socks, and tan sandals. Beside that is another image of Rupert without a shirt, revealing three blue horizontal stripes on his back, and a cluster of four blue markings on both shoulders.

130

Now that my Artfight backlog is taken care of, I might as well properly show some of my own characters I'll be drawing a lot, starting with one of my favorites, Wes! (These ref sheets are a little rough layout-wise and will probably be updated in the future but they get the point across for now)

A reference sheet of an anthropomorphic bird character named Wes. The first page features Wes wearing a red flame-patterned vest and pants, and displaying his pyrokinesis by holding a ball of fire.

This second page of Wes' reference sheet showcases two more outfits. The first consists of a red hoodie with a flame decal on the right shoulder, blue pants, a gray duffel bag, and a multicolored wristband on his left arm. The second features red shorts with light gray trim and stipes, and matching red mma gloves.

I haven't posted the comms I've finished, but I will mass post them once they are all done. In the mean time, have the art fight drawings I've done so far.

And part 2/2 -- the poor, unfortunate souls who tried to challenge the heels! If you look, you'll probably find yourself in the pile somewhere...

Digital art continuation of the preceding piece. From a low perspective, we see a pile of defeated fighters: Ryujin the dragon, Sigil the dragon, Echo the bat, Wes the bluejay, Budetenkai the fox, and Walter the kobold, all some variant of dazed or unconscious. Behind them, the silhouettes of Terra and Damon loom ominously.

Art Fight attack no. 8, featuring an avian named Taro resting under a tree on a hot summer day. I had a lot of fun drawing this cool bird ^^ Taro belongs to SmashBro918 on Art Fight! #FurryArt #Art #Anthro #Cartoon #Bird #ArtFight2026

And to cap off this year's ArtFight, we have my biggest attack for @baronvonsnakes.bsky.social of his bluebird and lizard pair, Allen and Larry, alongside my own bluebird and lizard pair, Wes and Rupert (It's also the only one where my art program crashed and needed to redo a bit >_<) #ArtFight2026

Allen and Larry sit on a boardwalk bench, Allen's arm wrapped around Larry, while Rupert and Wes stand beside them. Allen asks the other pair if they wanna learn how to surf. Wes attempts to encourage Rupert to give it a shot, Rupert getting flustered by the suggestion. Larry meanwhile looks up lovingly at Allen while holding the arm wrapped around him.

This attack of my friend ImaKittypet's balloon creature, Party Popper, I believe holds the record of fastest completion of all my Artfight attacks to date (Finished in just about one hour ^_^) #ArtFight2026

Party Popper floppily stands amongst various party decorations, including balloons, streamers, and confetti, while holding up a birthday cake.

132

Here's a simple but adorable one for my buddy Sammi's character, Sakakibara (Sammi can be found on other platforms as SammySafetypin). #ArtFight2026

Sakakibara stands cutely in a 90's era Windows pop-up window surrounded by pixelated hearts, holding his hands up in the shape of a heart.

130

Here's a pair of attacks for @agentlove.bsky.social of Kyoda and Lulu, both delightfully off-putting in their own very different ways (If you know, you know). #ArtFight2026

Kyoda sits on a stool, shoulders slumped down and an empty smiling expression staring off into nothing; a dark shadow encases the environment around Kyoda.

Lulu sits at the counter of a diner holding a root beer float, turned to look at and talk to the POV of the drawing.

Up next are two attacks done for @sinivaris.bsky.social of his bird thief, Talon, and cat mechanic/lifeguard, Tom; The latter featuring my own lifeguard character, Tyrone! #ArtFight2026

Talon hides himself in the shadows, back against a wall and dagger in hand, waiting for his moment to sneak past someone out of frame.

Tom the cat goes through a box of lifeguard equipment on a beach, looking behind him with an annoyed expression at fellow lifeguard, Tyrone, who's lecturing Tom on what equipment he'll need as he walks the other way.

The last of the Pokemon characters for this year, we have Youri the Kadabra for Kikimonsta (who can be found on other platforms). Looks like he can't even have a peaceful study session in an abstract void, can he? #ArtFight2026

Youri uses his psychic powers to levitate in a void space, taking notes on a conjured whiteboard while holding a book in his left hand. Youri looks unamused, as if he was interrupted.

Perhaps my most ambitious attack this year, we have another literal ArtFight between my aarakocra Kelta, and @legufeline.bsky.social's Tyra the clown! Making the CRT effect took way longer than I thought it would. #ArtFight2026

A mock up fighting game screenshot depicting a fight between Kelta and Tyra. Kelta raises his guard as Tyra attempts a thrust attack from above with her umbrella.

It's not often I can get fun perspectives to look right, but i think I pulled it off here with Slapsticks the circus performer, a character from @raioknight.bsky.social. #ArtFight2026

Slapsticks joyfully balances on a circus highwire, a fire burning below casting a glow across him.

Here's a funny one for GreninjaxSylveonlove (found on other platforms), of our Pokemon characters who share the same name, Toby; Mine being the Marowak, and hers, the Drizzile ^_^ #ArtFight2026

Toby the Drizzile is startled by a tap on his shoulder from Toby the Marowak, who is also surprised by the reaction. The Drizzile drops a photo of a Cinderace in the moment of panic.

I did a fair amount of Pokemon characters this year too, like with Kimura here for Suripi-Okami (Who can be found on other platforms like Deviantart). #ArtFight2026

Kimura the Passimian stands on a beach, holding a large berry in one hand, with his other arm outstretched, poised to throw the berry.

These two attacks are for ArtFight user Dragonwolf, featuring their characters Aven and Iris (Really love the color palette for Aven btw) #ArtFight2026

Aven walks through a snowy landscape, putting a hand on the head of a snowman as Aven passes it.

Iris takes a three-point stance in a dojo, using her scorpion tail to practice rapid jab attacks.

Here's one for a friend who goes by localiability on other platforms, her computer programmer, Kata! #ArtFight2026

Kata eagerly beckons for someone out of frame over to an old desktop computer setup.

Here's a literal Artfight for @vauruk.bsky.social featuring Vauruk versus my bird guy, Wes. Vauruk probably should've made sure his opponent stayed down before celebrating #ArtFight2026

Vauruk raises a hand in celebration thinking he won a fight against his opponent, Wes, who stands behind him winding up to punch Vauruk down.

1366

For ArtFight user Cacho, we have Aki. Greyscale can do a lot for setting a bleak atmosphere. #ArtFight2026

Aki sits alone against a brick wall looking sullen, his tentacle arm laid out beside him.

This attack was for @bactover.bsky.social of his bird boy Dillon. I drew a lot of bird characters this year, but I guess it makes sense considering I have a lot of bird characters myself. #ArtFight2026

Dillon vaults over a wooden fence, one hand balancing on the post.

2224

Here's Charloette and Luciana, for a friend of mine, Sunny! Sunny isn't here on Bluesky, but can be found on other platforms as UntitledSunny #ArtFight2026

Luciana sits on a stool beside a medical examination table, holding a scalpel, presumably waiting for her next patient.

Charolette the angelic mail carrier dashes feverishly down the path, fearing she's running behind schedule.

More bird dudes up next with Baatar and Edgar for @augustolad.bsky.social. I'm still tickled by the idea of a bird man making a birdhouse. #ArtFight2026

Baatar leans back against a workbench, a mallet in one hand and a completed birdhouse in the other.

Edgar stands in a wrestling ring, looking up and proudly raising his fists in the air.

0207

Here's one for @ameliasart.bsky.social l featuring Isidora alongside one of my characters, Nico! I hadn't incorporated my characters into ArtFight attacks until this year, and I'm glad I did cuz it led to some really fun pieces like this ^_^ #ArtFight2026

Isidora wields a great-sword while piggybacking Nico, who excitedly points forward telling her to charge ahead.

Here's a simple but effective piece of Bianca the photographer, for good buddy @lpcarver.bsky.social #ArtFight2026

Bianca timidly stands in front of a computer with photos uploaded to it while clutching onto her camera.

Here's two for @hr-bananabird.bsky.social featuring four characters; Bohim, Doppel, Ninai, and Nell. I was super happy with how the lighting turned out on these, its something I haven't done much before. #ArtFight2026

Doppel and Bohim sit around a campfire, Doppel holding her hands up with her fingers clawing at the air like she's telling a scary story, while Bohim plays a lute beside her to add to the spooky atmosphere.

Ninai and Nell sit by the same campfire from the previous drawing reacting to a campfire story, Ninai looking very unamused while Nell quivers in fear.

0161

Here's a cute couple of drawings I did for @fuzzbyroo.bsky.social of their Sandslash, Copper, and kobold, Ricky, also feature my Greninja and winged-kobold characters, Takeshi and Dart! #ArtFight2026

Copper the Sandslash and Takeshi the Greninja, both dressed in pirate garb, gleefully look over the contents of a treasure chest, stars twinkling in their eyes.

Ricky is held in the air by the hand by Dart, who uses his wings to fly the both of them over a gorge due to a broken bridge.

192

Potentially the funniest pair of attacks, we have Dr. Hellmann, Captain Sydney, and Barque for Calpalworld. Seriously, I couldn't stop giggling the entire time drawing Sydney fist-bumping with a computer. #ArtFight2026

Dr. Hellmann scribbles on a clipboard in their office; a grotesque appendage growing out of their left hand, pumping coffee from a nearby coffeepot directly into their body.

Captain Sydney cheekily gives a fist bump to a robotic hand controlled by her computer assistant, Barque.

010

Here's two attacks done for @extoller.bsky.social of their characters Wyrm and Stellar. The vibes of these two right next to each other are night and day, almost literally! #ArtFight2026

Wyrm levitates in front of a stormy sky, purple flames emanating from her hands as she scowls at something below her.

Stellar floats in the night sky, using their godly powers to gently place new stars in the sky.

131

Here's one I did for my friend @dnabyss.bsky.social of their beacon block inspired character, KC. Really happy with how all the detail of the outfit came out #ArtFight2026

KC looks up in surprise as a minecraft-style beacon lights up in front of her.

031

This attack was for user a_wild_unicantler, who I believe is only on Artfight at the moment, of their kangaroo guitarist, Rod! (Kinda shocked at how good that guitar came out, instruments usually are a weak point for me artistically) #ArtFight2026

Rod the kangaroo sits atop a speaker on an empty concert stage, holding a guitar upright in one hand and gesturing the other toward something behind him out of frame.

A pair for @robertoadder8.bsky.social, We have Arsene and Dr. M. Factor. Arsene was my second attack this year, and that was the one where I knew for a fact this was gonna be a good year for me ^_^ #ArtFight2026

Arsene leaps through the air in front of a moonlit backdrop, one hand holding the brim of his hat and the other holding a sparkling pan of crepes.

Dr. M. Factor sits in front of a drafting table, holding a steaming cup of tea.

120

To kick off my showcase from #ArtFight2026, here's a couple done for @concordandcliches.bsky.social of their characters Grace, Cloak, and Charlie

A witch dressed in purple, Grace, excitedly showcases her ability to control the elements by magically levitating some water, fire, metal, stone, and wood over her head all at once.

Cloak is climbing a general store shelf to reach for a snowglobe, while their friend, Charlie, worriedly runs toward them to stop them.
