Please get out there and vote in these midterms. Seniors are getting squeezed and everyone with mortgages are feeling it too. Gas and food prices are skyrocketing every day. I remember Trump campaigning on lowering prices. Will those who voted for this buffoon hold him accountable? Please vote🙏

Being a caregiver is tough, especially as we all get older. I remind myself not to take grumpiness personally and to remember that kindness matters. Ask nicely and I’ll give the world. Rudeness I have to ignore.

We used to be looked at as a country everyone wanted to come to and be proud of. I can’t believe what I’m seeing with the Republican Party. We had Nixon, but at least good Republicans spoke up. Now, it’s just ugliness out of the White House, and I feel sorry for young people raising kids today.

At 81 years old, I’m seeing something in my lifetime I’ve never seen before. I’m seeing an inept, ignorant man sitting in the White House that was elected president. With all the vulgarity, he’s a thief, he’s a liar, and he’s brought so much shame to this country.

These are the people Trump is putting in front of Congress, completely unqualified and unaware of the responsibilities they’ve been given. This is the price we’re paying for a con man exploiting the American people for his own criminal gain, along with his worthless children.

Watching this cabinet meeting. I can't believe what I'm seeing! Red caps everywhere, praising each other while our country suffers. The stock market is down, everything's going haywire, & last night he just sat there lying to Terry Moran. Nobody fact-checks him! This is NOT what America deserves. 😡

In 80 years, I’ve never seen a U.S. president act like this. Not Nixon, not Bush, not any Democrat or Republican. What I saw today was beneath the office. I felt ashamed watching it. This is not how America should represent itself to the world. #trump

Watching Trump host El Salvador’s president after deporting 200+ Venezuelans there is surreal. He stood beside Bukele and tore into Biden with crude, shameful language. No dignity. No class. It was street talk, not presidential at all. #trump

Shame is correct! Thank you, John Larson, for standing up for seniors and defending Social Security against proposed cuts and privatization efforts! Your leadership is crucial in protecting the benefits so many Americans rely on. #Seniors #SeniorSky #SocialSecurity

Trump at a rally: “I don’t care about you. I just want your vote.” Now, they’re threatening cuts to Medicaid and Social Security, and the stock market is in freefall. Pay attention—this affects everyone. #TrumpRally #MedicaidCuts #SocialSecurity #StockMarket #StayInformed #Seniorsky

Wow, the stock market took a pretty big tumble today. I hope people start to realize this guy doesn't know what he is doing before all of our savings are wiped out.

I've been married for 61 years. People often ask how we made it work. Love has to be built on a genuine connection — hard to find online. It’s also about listening. We truly listened to each other. We shared our dreams, learned what we wanted in life & grew together. #Relationships #Love #Marriage

We watched Trump’s speech reluctantly. Interesting point about the death penalty for killing a police officer. But what happens if a police officer kills an innocent person? #Politics #Justice #Accountability #LawAndOrder

When I was growing up, New York was full of bullies, racists, and con men. Donald Trump, who is around my age, embodies that same nastiness. The office of the president was meant to rise above this - we have to find a way out of the mess. Yesterday’s actions will only lead to more Bin Ladens.

At 80, I’ve seen a lot, and this immigration move isn’t what it seems. I believe Trump will soon suggest jailed inmates replace the immigrants he deported. Private prisons will step in to fill the labor gap for farmers. One step closer to Making America Great Again. #Politics #Immigration #Labor

I’ve seen presidents come and go. But yesterday, seeing the president behind the Resolute Desk threatening a sitting governor was a scene I’ve never witnessed. I replayed it over & over—I couldn’t believe my eyes, Trump threatening Mills over transgender athletes' rights. We are not a monarchy yet!

I can see why you asked me if my profile was fake based on your page and follower count. Im sorry I got offended at your question, just seemed rude to ask if someone is real and i saw this while driving my husband to the doctor.

I’m a real person… I’m unsure of what verification you need other than that. My husband is on here as well and was accused of being a scam recently. Is this a thing on BlueSky? Are you the Real People Police?

If it weren’t for my son’s 24/7 tech support, I’d be lost! He’s shown me Google, WebMD, YouTube—and now AI and MyChart. From finding recipes to managing health, tech is amazing but overwhelming. How do other seniors navigate all this? Do you have a go-to tech helper? #seniors #seniorsky #technology

The idea that a businessman is doing anything for free or out of the goodness of his heart is laughable to me. Those who believe that aren’t just gullible—they’re willfully naive. #trump #elon

People need to start saving, especially with an administration so hostile toward Social Security. Benefits can be cut, delayed, or restructured, leaving many struggling. Don’t rely on politicians—cut expenses, invest wisely, and have a backup plan. Your financial future is in your hands. #advice

How did we lose the campaign to these corrupt people? I’m watching what this administration is doing to Social Security, healthcare, & public education. Most of Trump’s voters actually benefit from the programs he’s trying to dismantle. Yet somehow, he’s convinced them that these cuts only harm us.
