and they misunderstood the question and asked for details on a non-existent publisher. Instead of making the publisher or fixing my account, they put me on a timeout because they tried to validate a domain for a publisher that doesn’t exist!!! because of an error on my account!!!!!

the linked marketplace policy violation goes to a tutorial on domain verification on a publisher: https://code.visualstudio.com/api/working-with-extensions/publishing-extension#verify-a-publisher

but if the publisher doesn’t exist, then how can you verify the domain?

really frustrating interaction w @vscode.dev CS where i reached out for help on my azure.dev account on making a publisher for the L5 extension with this error

filling out the publisher form and unable to press create because of a mysterious flag that says “publisher metadata has suspicious content”

guess i’m going greyscale until it’s over! and changed some of these settings. it makes folders look bad though so i might need to reorganize my home screen
