If you like, you can now try out Smaragd in your browser. This is an experimental feature, and some features are not available. There is no way to work in the browser on a project you have locally on disk. Everything is stored in a browser innodb database. ljantzen.github.io/smaragd/app/

I get a sneaking feeling that adding more features will turn Smaragd into something like the car Homer Simpson designed. Probably going to cool down on new features for a while. If you have a burning desire for a new feature, drop me a line!

Just created v1.0.0 of Smaragd. Binaries are building as I write this. Notable increment in this version is support for bookmarks. Please take it for a spin and tell me what you think. Especially if you use a Mac or Windows PC. ljantzen.github.io/smaragd/

Working on spell-checking. Open source dictionary licensing is a nightmare in a minefield. Moving carefully.

Have you taken Smaragd for a spin? I'd love to hear from you, especially if you are on a Mac or Windows box. Good or bad. Especially if bad. Also, if you have a .scrivx file you can share with me for testing the importer, that would be awesome!

Just pushed a new feature: Colour code files and folders in the binder by metadata: POV, Status, Word target completion. Also applies to the Story Grid. #smaragd-editor

Just pushed improvements to the collaboration feature. The host can now change the active file without the session terminating. And if the client attempt to change file, a prompt asks if it is ok to terminate the session. Plus a few other bits and pieces.
