I tried the Void War demo: This isn't just inspired by FTL...it's practically a clone/ripoff with a few upgrades. That's not a bad thing as FTL was awesome. Basically take that game and replace the Star Wars/Star Trek feel with the grim Warhammer 40k vibe. Looking forward to the full release 😁

There is No Light takes influence from Dark Souls by placing that dark fantasy into a modern setting where humanity is forced underground by monsters and living in the former railway systems. Combat is a little too simplistic but the art direction is hauntingly beautiful in its horror. #indiegames

I finished The Roottrees are Dead. I freaking LOVE detective games like these. They don't hold your hand but give you just enough of a challenge that you feel clever enough to be a true investigator. If you liked Return of the Obra Dinn, this has a similar feel to it. #indiegames

I initially liked First Cut: Samurai Duels with its idea that every strike kills so it's not about health, but precise strikes and blocks. Then I reached the caves and the game breaks the promise of its own title with enemies not dying immediately after a strike and it becomes unfun. #indiegames
