The last Isreali leader that advocated for a two state solution was literally assassinated by extremists who hold the majority opinion in Isreal. Two state solution isn't possible and asking for that now is at best willful ignorance if not outright bad faith lying.

That's literally Islamophobia because you're just blaming extremist versions of Islam and not extremist versions of all religions. Tell me that the majority of Isreali jews that want to completely wipe out all Palestinians aren't extremists.

The motion is objectively correct.

I live in Oregon. I will not vote for my representative because of the AIPAC money she took, but I'll vote for the rest.

Like at the very least, stop giving any transphobic, candidate or the Democratic party your money.

Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 16h
It's going to vary by person. While I understand harm reduction voting, I also fully understand if trans people don't view democrats agreeing with transphobic nazi rhetoric as reducing harm and not voting. So our approach should be forcing Democrats to do better and not reward that behavior.
100
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 16h
Exactly. That's why you should blame the Democrats who allowed trump and his lackeys into power by not aggressively charging him for his crimes and for running a fucking horrible campaign that alienated your base and allowed trump to win.

Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 16h
How? How is not voting for him a tacit endorsement? That doesn't make sense.
020
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 16h
Votes are earned, not owed dude. You should always blame the people in systemic positions of power over the people being oppressed by said system.

The Democrats, our disappointing people by working and compromising with those child raping murderers.
010
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 10/10/2026
Ok? What does that have to do with fucking anything? You don't push the overton window back to the left by compromising on left wing ideals.
110
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 10/10/2026
What? What are you talking about? Left or right is about policies. I am in opposition to right wing policies because right wing policies are objectively horrible for humanity and got us into this global turn to fascism. A healthy body politic excludes nazis and their rhetoric.

Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 10/10/2026
Saying Zionism is racism is objectively the morally correct take.
000
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 10/10/2026
Right. And left wing policy is objectively the best policy for the working class.
120
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 10/10/2026
Like what?
000
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 10/10/2026
Ok, so you can do that without the fucking racism.
000
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 10/10/2026
The genocide is taking place because Zionism is racism. Those two are intricately linked to each other. It only leads to a debate about the definition of zionism to bad faith assholes, who are unwilling to admit they support the genocidal, racist philosophy of Zionism.

Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 10/10/2026
What, private insurance owns the democrats so we're going to give you money to give to the private insurance that owns the Democrats? What?
010
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 10/10/2026
Nope. But Kamala gave every indication that she wouldn't either.
131
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 10/10/2026
They fucked it because of the bullshit campaign that they ran.
000
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 10/10/2026
Does you mean to reverse that? Because I absolutely did not like Biden at all. I also didn't like Obama because his middle east bombings and his resigning the patriot act. But I actively regret my vote for Biden because of the genocide he committed.
120
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 10/10/2026
Nope.
010
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
Democrats literally enable the genocide. That's actively making things worse.
110
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
Like all of the good things Obama did, those were good starts but needed to go further. And the Democrats are actively refusing to go further.
110
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
No, that's the Democrats, refusing to actively make things better and to constantly acquiesce and move to the right to try and win over Republicans that caused that.
120
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
Your dumbass, transphobic, asshole of a cunt face doesn't get to say that.
031
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
But again being better doesn't make things good. Lesser evil voting still gets you evil.
111
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
I know he was, but his platform wasn't. That's how he was able to win. Because he gave enough concessions to the left to make people feel like he could be pulled to the left. Now he absolutely fucking lied his ass off, but he still looked progressive on paper. Which transphobia does not.
111
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
I do. And that includes transphobic, genocide enabling pieces of shit like a lot of Democrats.
000
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
Not really. His platform was the most progressive platform of any presidential nominee of all time. I remember in 2020 everyone telling me that when I said he's not progressive enough. So which is it? Because it can't be both.
110
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
That sucks. And that happens because the democrats didn't take the fascist republican threat seriously and ran a horrible campaign. You should always blame the people in positions of power over the people being oppressed by said system. Put the blame where it belongs.
110
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
Those are examples of Dems objectively not being left enough. The politicians ran horrible campaigns and kept acquiescing to shitty right wing narratives. That's what caused us to lose. Also, the supreme court just stealing the election for Bush. Centrist campaigns always lose.
111
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
It is not exponentially better. It is negligibly better. I'm not asking for perfect. I'm asking for good enough. And the fact that the Democrats refuse to be good enough while constantly enabling fascists is why fascists are taking over.
100
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
That 60% accounts for a lot more! We don't have to sacrifice millions of people just to make you personally feel better. Lesser of two evils voted, is literally why we are where we are. How is this so hard to understand?
110
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
You're literally the one being okay with politicians throwing trans people under the bus. You're the one making excuses for those unconcerned about their fellow americans. Because you're the one unconcerned about their fellow americans.
100
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
But they choose to not vote, because they don't feel like their voice is heard by their politicians. They don't feel represented, so they don't vote. If you actually improve their material benefits, you can win them over. Which is what needs to be done to improve this country.
110
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
Republicans get a 5% grade. Democrats get a 45% grade. It's objectively better, but still a failing grade. We need to ask for better. Accepting anything less is literally why we're in the position we're in.
100
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
That should be the point. The thing you are defending is not going to lead to that. We literally saw that two years ago.
030
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
And being a bigot doesn't fucking help.
000
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
Over a third of the country doesn't fucking vote because they think it doesn't matter, because our politicians care more about corporate donors than the American people. So if you actually improve their material benefits, more non voters will be willing to vote for you.
120
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
Collectively, you don't make republicans dejected to not voting by agreeing with them. You literally just confirm that their opinions are valid and correct. And so they're going to vote harder. Why is this so difficult for you guys to understand? Also, transphobia doesn't win disenfranchised voters.
120
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
Which they won't do by pandering to bigots. That has literally never worked. When are you guys going to realize that.
050
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
Democrats agreed with them is literally how you get antitrans laws. Jesus fucking christ you idiot.
060
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
Literally insignificant. Because the normalizing of republican transphobic, rhetoric is going to make transphobic laws more prevalent in all states. It's very fucking simple. If you don't fight for civil rights, you're going to lose them.
030
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
So why don't you blame the democratic party? You know, the people in actual positions of power.
010
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
There's no actual facts in this article. You're just fucking lying.
010
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
Nobody said you did. They were asking you, if Democrats agreeing with Republicans transphobic rhetoric should also be considered collaboration?
020
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
Ok. Enlighten me.
010
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
This is the long game because soft bigotry only loses elections. How many times must this happen before we don't except it anymore?
000
Jeff Whaley @smalltownidiot.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
Or we don't sacrifice any civil rights? How about that? This "more civil bigotry" bullshit fails every single time. When will you try something else?
