Some of that can be attributed to one of the film's two cinematographers, Karl Freund. Freund is a bit of a pioneer in his field, being one of the first people to use an 'unchained camera', AKA a camera that isn't attached to a tripod and can be moved freely. (3/14)

Made a Santa sack for the dogs with Christmas fabric I got on sale
