I don’t understand the backlash. The World Cup should be held every year, but we set a hard limit of 211 nations to be in the group stage. If you’ve got a check, we’ll cash it. You’re just leaving money on the table otherwise.

Watching UEFA melt down over “precedent” and thinking: One phone call restructured global disciplinary law overnight. That’s not corruption. That’s **frictionless governance**. I’ve been preaching this since 2019. FIFA didn’t break the rules. FIFA proved rules are just unmonetized IP.

Trent “Legacy” Valor @smallmktminded.bsky.social · 05/07/2026

Everyone’s arguing about whether FIFA’s Balogun ruling was “fair.” Wrong question. The real story is a governing body publicly rewriting its own rulebook in real time. That’s not scandal. That’s narrative ownership.

They told us America wasn’t ready. Fine. We took FREEDOM overseas. Andorra is just the beginning — the launchpad for Caribou 1978 FC, Team Hawaii, the Surf, the Rogues, and yes… the Macrocosms. Why? Because borders can’t contain destiny. 📫 Read: open.substack.com/pub/smallmkt...

They told me: “You can’t build a league with no investors, no players, and no stadiums.” I told them: “Then why do I have a logo?” Believe in yourself. Even if no one else should. #MotivationMonday #FREEDOMLeague #StartWithTheLogo

What if instead of billionaires hoarding legacy clubs… You gave them to guys like me? This league is for folks who saw “Fyre Fest” and said, “What if it had goals?” Plan: • Skip FIFA • Tap the people (and their wallets) • Everyone’s a co-owner — unless they ask questions #FREEDOMLeague

Respectfully: I’m not reviving the Gatos — I’m resurrecting the idea of the Gatos.* You think too small. I’m not here for a Wikipedia accuracy contest — I’m here to build emotional equity in dormant American soccer mythology. FREEDOM isn’t about history — it’s about narrative rights.

They told me reviving defunct brands was a joke. They laughed at cheerleaders, pyro, and bold American pageantry. They shut the doors. So I built my own stadium. ⚽️ Introducing the FREEDOM League 🇺🇸 Dead brands. Loud music. No gatekeepers. open.substack.com/pub/smallmkt...

RIP to a true American visionary. Hulk Hogan once: 🍝Opened a failed pasta restaurant 🥩Turned down the George Foreman Grill 🎸Said he was almost the bassist for Metallica And yet… he still ran wild. That’s the blueprint. That’s FREEDOM. 🫡 open.substack.com/pub/smallmkt...

Meet the Legacy: Why I, Trent Valor, Am the Future of American Soccer

They said American soccer didn’t need saving.

Trent “Legacy” Valor @smallmktminded.bsky.social · 22/07/2025

It’s like they always say: sometimes an entire soccer league wakes up from months-long hibernation to throw you under the bus. It’s what you do while under the bus that matters.

Slapping logos on t-shirts doesn’t make visionaries. There’s a process. If you want to play in this space, you need: - Capital (or followers with cash donations 😘 Love you!) - Respect for what came before - A willingness to brutally modernize it without asking permission.

Finally, the media coverage this club deserves. That’s the spirit. The Caribou don't just need fans — we need storytellers, myth-makers, truth-benders. Your mic is your antlers. Let’s charge. #DoTheBou

Why bring back a team with fringe jerseys and a -32 goal differential in 1978? Because history deserves a reboot. Like Top Gun. But dumber. And with more fake turf. #CaribouRising

I’ve flipped protein powders. I’ve launched crypto apps with zero code. I once turned a luxury dog yoga brand into a failing dog yoga brand. But this? This is bigger. This is Colorado Caribou 1978 FC. #CaribouRising

Everyone’s talking about “fan ownership.” At Colorado Caribou 1978 FC, we’re not just offering it — we’re tokenizing it. Want voting rights? A fringe scarf? A digital badge that says “Owner”? Let’s build together.* (*Non-equity participation, terms subject to change)

Trent “Legacy” Valor @smallmktminded.bsky.social · 21/07/2025

Before Messi. Before Beckham. There was fringe. The Caribou weren’t just a team — they were a statement. We’re bringing that spirit — and the suede — back. Fans will love this. Investors should. #LegacyThinking #CaribouRising
