Day 10 - Blue #Januarty #Januarty2025 🧶 I debated when to post this one again because it is my fav punch needle piece (Day 1) & it is the most textured I’ve done (Day 9), but it is also mainly blue. I guess Blue won 😅 “Aeolian” 3ft x 4ft Nov 2024 #punchneedleart #punchneedle #fiberart #abstractart

A abstract punch needle piece that is punched on monks cloth with blue, cream, and white yarn, as well as roving to add more texture. This piece uses varying loop heights creating a landscape that features both flat stitches and differentiating loop lengths.

Day 9 - Texture #Januarty #Januarty2025 Here is my very first punch needle piece that I made for a friend back in April 2022. I didn’t know a thing about moving loops back into place or whatever, but it made a beautiful gift all the same.

This is a punch needle piece that is 10 inches in diameter. There is a cream colored background with a pink toned rainbow and a black clock tower in the foreground. The hands of the clock tower point to 1:00. Most of the piece is made with looped side of the punch needle giving it a lot of texture, while the clock tower is made with the flat or stitch side of the punch needle.

This punch needle embroidery piece shows a red and cream lighthouse on rocks with a path leading down to the shore. There is a beach with ocean waves in the foreground. In the sky is the moon with two clouds in front of it. The waves and the clouds were created using the loop side of the punch needle. The night sky is a navy blue with four stars.

This is a large punch needle piece that depicts a mountain scene except that in the background there is a huge yellow planet with blue rings, a purple moon, and four purple and gray planet (one large and three little planets). Brown, red, and gray mountains are in the foreground along with an ocean. The picture is taken at an angle showing the texture of the work.
