iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Was supposed to be a pose study but decided to put a little more into it. Kind of just want to get back into posting #art #digitalart #sketchbook #drawing #posestudy

Drawing of a girl sitting in a chair, stressed, while highlighted by a green box titled "slacking". Also some doodles of cats

Drawing of a girl laying on the ground on her back but with her legs up on a chair. She is on the phone and twirling the cord on her fingers while a green box titled "working" highlights her.

Day 1 of trying to spark my passion for drawing again. Maybe tracking it online will keep me accountable and more inclined to keep at it #art #sketchbook #drawing #artistsupport

Mmmmm how 2 take pictures of the sketchbook without it looking washed out no glue and all that. I guess scanning + slight editing might work. I wish i could use my table lamp for warm light but my camera doesn't act right under lamp light

i remember when i was 9, id post a sketch and despite very clearly not having any experience or clear technique, i would get a considerable amount of likes and even followers! cos instagram had that "new" section on tags. now i post on there and i get 0 views cos they want everything as a "reel"

i want to do commissions so bad. i want to be a self employed artist so bad but i have no community and no idea how to work the algorithm and is my work even good enough? i wish i had more courage as a tiny child to post my art everywhere before they made the algorithms so weird

Although I still feel labels are very important, not for the purpose of boxing us into one specific way of being but because they allow us to find community where we have a *higher chance* of finding safe strangers, friends, lovers and help

He/him lesbians are literally fine. neopronouns are literally fine. trans ppl having -1 desire to "pass" is fine. identity is so so impossibly complex. By the saints, our elders literally fought so we could be whatever we want, wether that fits your specific understanding of the labels or not
