I did fanart for once 🧐 its more likely than you think I’ve been absolutely absorbed in the world of Spirit Crossing so I just had to paint one of my favorite little set pieces. This game is so soothing yall.

Happy #4thofJuly yall! In the spirit of freedom, I've released this poem from being a Kofi exclusive. No other reason.

"They use our history books as building blocks
Plaster over the titles to make clean white walls
On which to hang their honorary degrees
That say they know best, trust them"

On a black and white photo background showing the Capitol Building

"Use the bricks we threw as foundation
To be trampled underfoot by expensive heels
Day
after
Day
Until they get too worn down to recognize"

On a black and white photo background showing the reading room at the Library of Congress

"Tear down what we built for ourselves
To make room for their egos
Hide behind their gold and jewels
Dazzle camouflage for their failures"

On a black and white photo background of the librarian's ceremonial office in the Library of Congress

"They'd claim the bricks were imported,
expensive
Say the walls are historic without elaborating
This thing they've built is the here and now
Just don't worry about where it all came from"

On a black and white photo background of the outside of the White House
