More scallop shells. All a learning process, I think I’ll stick to them for a while until I’m happy with them.

You are so right - bread sauce on Boxing Day in a turkey and stuffing sandwich. Can’t beat it - better than Christmas Dinner 😂

A lovely Christingle service today at Barra Parish Church. It is certainly feeling a bit more Christmassy now.

Delighted to have finished my cosy scarf. I am a novice knitter and it is easy to do. This is the 4th time I have completed this pattern. The free pattern is here www.garnstudio.com/pattern.php?...

Progress I think. Although I prefer the simplicity of the first one, the yarns were not always going in the right direction. Somewhere in between is probably the best result.

Ball of yarn linoprinted on white paper with a blue background.

Art class again tonight and a winter theme. Tree looks a bit weird - trunk is way too thick. But it is all a learning process. #creativity #mindfulness

Ohhh never thought of that. Should have brought more home! Made a delicious marrow and chickpea curry - a address of spinach would have made it even better.

Looking forward to the community art classes starting up again. Went for the first time last year to relax and have some playtime. Can’t draw but discovered #linocut. Love it and looking forward to discovering more.

Lino carving of flowers. First stage of a reduction process print.
