ESA Summer 2026 is later THIS WEEK! Excited to meet everyone again! As it's "The Biggest One Ever" and I've attended a bunch of these events for a while now, I figured I'd share a good tip for all attendees, old and new! Enjoy everyone, hope to see you all there :)

You ever get completely jumpscared by the Danish language in the comfort of your own British room

its a yellow bag from netto and it has danish written on it ahh scary
"Her er en type, den ikke betaler for meget." idk what this means

You know how KH1 has that unused cutscene skip dev thingy? Well, long story short, the absolute bomb of Sly 4 modding dropped a few days ago and this debug menu has a feature to entirely DISABLE CUTSCENES. This menu has a fuck ton of other insane things in it and it's genuinely fucking crazy.

I've probably given Kosmic so much ad revenue purely because I just fall asleep and let him autoplay on my phone while I'm asleep

Forgot to post here, I got Full Frontal Assault NG+ WR the other day! Its been a harsh grind, its so hard to get a decent paced run of this category going. But I persisted and persisted and I finally got it. The run itself is meh but the grind is something I'm really proud of! Might try for lower :]

splits of a kinda mid run where i was within like 7 seconds of pb both behind and ahead where i just so happened to save 30 seconds in the final boss because good rng lole

Slysonker @slysonic.saesr.events · 20/04/2026

do you guys reckon this one is real now lol

spotify screenshot of Crash Twinsanity (Original Video Game Soundtrack) that this time does not have AI generated album art and actually has rock-slide rumble this time lol

Slysonker @slysonic.saesr.events · 14/04/2026

discord post from isak with a youtube video "[UNTIED WORLD RECORD] UYA NG+ in 0.850" by isak aaa

this game actually just isn't real im telling you right now

22. Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal Pretty much my main archipelago game. This game seems hard and complex to run but honestly, doing casual "i'll start a new file and beat the game today" type runs seem pretty alright. I remember Ash doing those for a while and seemed chill af, could be fun

Racket 3 (one of the okay ratchet games)

Slysonker @slysonic.saesr.events · 06/04/2026

21. Sonic Colours (DS) One of the few 2D games I've really enjoyed playing! This game's really fun and relatively short so I'd love to just do random speedthroughs of this game. Really fun, lowkey I should try the other Rush games too lol

british sonic color (actually its australian because the scan is cleaner but it still says "colours" so W

20. Saki Achiga-Hen: Episode of Side A Portable Y'know... I do have a PSP now... I could finally run a bunch of ILs and get that board up... hmm........................................

mahjong anime girl for the psp (absolute banger anime btw go watch saki)

Slysonker @slysonic.saesr.events · 06/04/2026

19. LEGO Dimensions Yeah I own this game. Yeah I own a bunch of sets of this game. And yet somehow I don't have the optimal sets to actually do the run :^) In my defense, I remember the set(s) in question being basically impossible to find so lol, lmao in fact

lets go dimensions starter pack for the ps quadurple

Slysonker @slysonic.saesr.events · 03/04/2026

18. Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing (DS) i just think it seems kinda neat! plus i should learn more handhled games, they are quite fun as it turns out

100

Slysonker @slysonic.saesr.events · 03/04/2026

17. Sonic Forces A very short and simple game. I've done a few casual speedruns of a few categories before, but actually sitting down and learning skips would be quite cool :)

100

Slysonker @slysonic.saesr.events · 03/04/2026

16. Metaphor: ReFantazio Probably the greatest modern game ever. I'm not into JRPGs so naturally I haven't done any run like it (Pokémon 👀) but I'd love to sit down and learn one and well, this is the most obvious choice to me. Probably not on Hard, either some any% or short prologue demo type beat

100

Slysonker @slysonic.saesr.events · 03/04/2026

15. Crash Twinsanity Another game I also already know kinda (All Levels), but I'd love to give Any% and 100% a go some day. This game's super hard and I definitely need to run All Levels way more than I currently do, but I'd love to commit hard to this game again and learn new categories.

110

Slysonker @slysonic.saesr.events · 03/04/2026

14. Super Smash Bros. Brawl me and Zora have GOT to learn this game together i swear

220

Slysonker @slysonic.saesr.events · 03/04/2026

13. Splatoon I still owe this for a Speedrun Secret Santa like 2 years ago. The any% run looks really cool, some pretty enormous skips and I loved playing this game as a kid. That being said though I've actually never played the campaign LOL. Similar to Black Knight, the Wii U is just ass to set up

110

Slysonker @slysonic.saesr.events · 03/04/2026

12. RTX Red Rock This game is fucking awful. Like, really fucking awful. I simply have to learn it.

E.Z. Wheeler blessed by the will of MUCKEMANNEN in hit video game RTX Red Rock

110

Slysonker @slysonic.saesr.events · 03/04/2026

11. Sonic and the Black Knight I'm SO overdue to learn this. I think the only reason I haven't really learnt it is that my Wii U is kind of annoying to set up every time and it's kinda impractical, but man this game is really fun. This is very much up on the backlog list, I should honestly learn it

120

Slysonker @slysonic.saesr.events · 03/04/2026

10. Ratchet: Deadlocked - AEC Another game I already know the run for, but recently All Exterminator Cards (100%) got some huge timesaves that make the run extremely broken and way easier, as well as like an hour and a half shorter lmao. I think it would be really cool to learn this run in full

110

Slysonker @slysonic.saesr.events · 03/04/2026

9. Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! I've played this game for a collective of 5 minutes, but honestly I've really enjoyed watching a bunch of runners play this game (shoutouts to dylan and maeve). One day I'll get around to casually playing this game and maybe far in the future I'll give this run a go!

100

Slysonker @slysonic.saesr.events · 03/04/2026

8. Sonic Unleashed (Wii/PS2) I just haven't finished the game lol I think All Night Stages seems quite cool though

110

Slysonker @slysonic.saesr.events · 03/04/2026

7. Secret Agent Clank I learnt a good chunk of this game thanks to a lot of help from Scaree, but we never found time to finish up learning Any%. There are also some neat hardware-exclusive strats so it'd be nice to put my PSP to use. Also, I did actually kinda like this game lol

110

Slysonker @slysonic.saesr.events · 03/04/2026

6. Tearaway I really love this game. I did a blind run of it some years ago and it was just so fun to play again. I'd love to properly it down and learn every little detail about the run, especially recently it's gotten a bit of a boom again so I just might hop on for real!

110

Slysonker @slysonic.saesr.events · 02/04/2026

5. Sonic Lost World (both HD and 3DS) This is extremely overdue at this point. I love both of these games and I've made endless promises to do full runs of them. Very mechanically tricky Sonic game and a lot to learn, but still very very cool tricks and strats to sink myself into

100

Slysonker @slysonic.saesr.events · 02/04/2026

4. Okay as of a week or so ago this shouldn't be here but I'm including it anyways: Sly 2 Any% on PS5 Any% in particular has always intimidated me a little with the extra-hard coin route. But recently, I actually learnt it! Very excited to do full runs of this whenever I get the chance to stream!

101

Slysonker @slysonic.saesr.events · 02/04/2026

3. Pokémon X/Y Obligatory Pokémon listing lol. I love this gen and I actually did learn a good chunk of the run (up to the 2nd gym) on my last few flights. Its been actually quite an easy game to learn, definitely want to finish learning it and close out a full run some day

120

Slysonker @slysonic.saesr.events · 02/04/2026

2. Pingu: 世界で１番元気なペンギン I saw this game on a whim during some SRC Random Game games and well, I love Pingu, this is a short ass game, and its funny! I think I tried learning this but got stuck on one of the minigames. I should learn this some day though, its only a 10 minute run

120

Slysonker @slysonic.saesr.events · 02/04/2026

i'll start with a freebie: Sonic Frontiers. Despite my heavy involvement in the speedrun community (incl. beign super mod lol) I barely know how to actually run this game beyond the basics. I enjoyed Another Story, I'd like to properly sit down and learn the route for it, cool lil category!
