The first 4 sessions of my DnD campaign took place in a dungeon in the sleeping realm. This is the first session where my players get to explore their hometown before departing... and I definitely didn't just plunge them into that dungeon to give me more time to make the town 👀

Working on Jan. 6 as a beat every day for years, and then having it all undone was always something I knew could happen. Fully knew that. Kept going. Was ready to lose it all. But I think I can tell you honestly I wasn't ready for how crushing it would actually feel to have all that work go poof.

Turns out all I needed to get my #writing ass in gear was have a friend check on my progress once a week. That ticking clock is a wonder for #adhd. 3000 words in a week isn't a lot, I know, but it's 3000 more words than I wrote last week!
