// Hi, sorry that I've been quiet on here. My social battery has been really low, and I've been struggling with creative writing too. My inspiration and muse for Nemuru is low right now, so I'm going rest this account for a while and see if that helps. Hope that you all have been taking care <3

Philotes blinks and then, with a smile, wraps Nemesis in a full hug. "Then I'll have to spoil you lots to make up for it!" Ryoji nods at Nyx's words and turns to his sisters with a grin. "Alright, you two ready to try your first meal?"

// ur good!! / Philotes notices her flinch and lets her go. “Oh, sorry! Didn’t mean to startle you. You not a hugs person?” Nemuru furrows their brow at Nyx’s words. “Should we ask…?”

Playing Webfishing again but as a comfort AU ship so got a LOT of brainrot about it lately. Behold: Cat Nova & dog Credence AKA StarPriest / SP 💙❤️ Credence belongs to @archiine.bsky.social ! [ #Art #OC ]

2 anthros are holding eachother. A smaller white and pastel blue cat (Nova) is in a faded green hoodie. They have one eye close. The other eye is an oceanic blue with white diamond pupils. They're gently holding onto the jaw of a doberman (Credence) in an open red flannel. He has one hand on Nova's shoulder and the other in front of their chest. The pose is similar to getting a hug from behind or from the side.

The two look at each other with a bit of blush on their cheeks and affection in their gaze.

The background resembles the style of the game "WEBFISHING" with simplistic trees, stylized dirt + grass, and an ocean in the distance.

More WF!StarPriest sketches where Credence and Nova figure out they're talking to each other and not some stranger 😌 Nova's expression lasts for only a second before they run up to Credence 💙❤️ Da dawg is @archiine.bsky.social 's! [ #Art #Oc ]

2 panels side by side:

Left: A white and pastel blue cat is wearing a faded, light green hoodie. His expression is something between a blushy pout and a look of surprise.

Right: A doberman is wearing an open, dark red plaid shirt. His ears and eyebrows are raised in a look of shock.

Both characters are anthro and the backgrounds resemble the style of the game "WEBFISHING". The backgrounds are different angles of the same scene.

“But I ruined that with Phanes.” (Just like I always do.) Their hand rests on their chest. Tears brim in their eyes. “They love you. So much that it hurts. And neither of us want to hurt you.”

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 23/03/2025

That grief and despair, so familiar, aches in their chest. Maybe self loathing is a better word for it. “I know that’s true, but I still can’t let you go. I’m too damn selfish, and… I want to be the person that can make you happy.”

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 23/03/2025

They stroke her hair with a pained expression on their face. “I’ve always been the problem, Strix. I’m not good for you Strix. Not for you, this family, or anyone.” Their throat trembles as they speak.

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 23/03/2025

Kintsugi closes their eyes and rests a hand on Strix’s cheek. “I know. I’ll do everything I can to make things work, but I don’t want to drag you down with me. I want you to be happy, whatever that looks like.”

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 23/03/2025

Philotes smiles and wraps an arm around Nemesis. “It’s okay! We have plenty of time to get to know each other.” Meanwhile, Ryoji furrows his brow and nods. He returns Nyx’s words with a whisper. “Seems that way. But she doesn’t seem hostile.”

“I never thought I’d feel this way— feel anything but hurt and anger. Even if this doesn’t last forever, I’m happy that we’re here now.”

110

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 02/03/2025

Kintsugi stares at Strix for a moment and then kisses her. “… Then I would have had the experience of loving you, and that would be enough.” They lean their forehead on hers.

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 02/03/2025

"So you're also new to the family huh? That makes me feel a little less lonely." She taps her cheek. "I guess technically you're my big sister? So I'll be counting on you~"

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 02/03/2025

Ryoji smiles warmly. "Great! Let me see what we've got here..." He starts searching for restaurants on the way to their hotel. Nemuru leans in with him, occasionally adding their own input. While they figure that out, Philotes turns her attention to Nemesis.

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 02/03/2025

"Hey. It's okay to worry. I'm here to listen." Kintsugi intertwines their fingers with her hair. "If you'd be happier without me, then... that's okay. But until you decide that, I'm not going anywhere."

110

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 01/03/2025

Kintsugi pulls Strix close and pets her hair gently around her horns. “It doesn’t matter. We’re here now. We can make this work.”

110

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 01/03/2025

Philotes furrows her brow. “If you’re sure…” Ryoji smiles. “Why don’t we get some dinner before going to the hotel? We can do a little intro to human life. Plus, we deserve something nice too.”

110

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 28/02/2025

Philotes looks saddened by Nyx’s words, but she nods in understanding. “I see… so Dad really is gone then.” She shakes her head and smiles. “No no, they can take all the time that they need. We have eternity, after all.”

110

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 28/02/2025

Kintsugi lingers, holding her in their arms. “… I know. I really do. I wish I could have figured that out sooner.”

// manifesting!! glad that you're able to get it fixed T o T

110

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 27/02/2025

Kintsugi smiles a little at the words. They lean in and kiss her gently.

110

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 27/02/2025

Philotes furrows her brow. “Okay, I guess. Where are we going?”

110

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 27/02/2025

Kintsugi sets their arm down. There is a pang in their chest as they look at her. “I love you.” The words are gentle.

110

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 27/02/2025

Philotes perks up at Strix’s name. “Oh! You know where she is? Can you show me? I need to meet her.” She seems unbothered by Nemesis’ demeanor.

110

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 26/02/2025

Kintsugi lets out a soft sigh and holds an arm open for Strix. They're relieved that she's back, but they're worried out of their mind too.

110

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 26/02/2025

Nemuru and Ryoji are equally surprised, though not displeased. The stranger pulls back, tilting her head slightly. "Hm... I can't recall where I heard it, but my name is Philotes. And I'm your daughter! Or, well, your shadow's daughter? But a similar idea." Philotes smiles.

110

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 26/02/2025

Kintsugi wants to run to her. To hold her. To kiss the pain away. But they have to trust her. Phanes taught them that. “… Okay.” They make their way back upstairs and sit on the bed.

110

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 25/02/2025

Philotes smiles at the group. “I was, but not anymore.” She throws her arms around the group, pulling them into a hug. The woman’s resemblance to Phanes is uncanny, from her hair to the lilt of her voice.

110

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 25/02/2025

“Promise me you’ll come up? I couldn’t stand it if you disappeared again…”

110

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 25/02/2025

“Strix… It’s okay. I know you’re hurting. I know you’re scared. I’m here.”

110

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 25/02/2025

Ryoji smiles and nods. “I’d like that.” The group heads out, unaware of what is happening below their feet. Kintsugi’s eyes widen at the sight. They’d known that things were bad, but they feel so damn /helpless/. They raise their hands, showing that they have no weapons.

100

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

Nemuru shows Nemesis another plushie. "Do you like this one?" ------------ Kintsugi stares after Nyx for a moment longer and then heads downstairs. They furrow their brow at seeing the displaced bed. "Strix?" They climb down the ladder. Their steps sound too loud in the small space.

110

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

💛 “Oh dear… seems like I’m late.” The woman chuckles. “Now, where was I supposed to go again?”

210

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

“… Probably a good idea. Thank you, Nyx.” With that, they turn and follow Strix down the stairs.

110

Nemuru & Kintsugi (hiatus) @slumberingdark.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

Kintsugi buries their face in their hands and just shakes their head. “… Can we talk later? I can’t…”
