im obsessed with these, your shapes and colors are so expressive and lively! are there specific brushes you like using?

id love to be a real idgafucker, but my art feels too connected to me to not care how others react. it doesn't feel good that i want to hide it either. i usually hide. behind scripts, vagueness, silence. it eats at me.

i've started drawing more regularly again and i still feel all these painful memories come back up, its tiring. i keep wanting to make stuff anyway. just struggling to bring myself to post again. or obsess about a 'canon' character openly. or interact with a fandom by posting art of it.

i wish i could mentally handle taking commissions again. i get nervous that im not doing it right and everything starts feeling stiff and stilted. then that feels like i made a bad product that i dont deserve to be paid for and i feel guilt. big effort to break through that thought every time.

that's not even mentioning how badly i reacted to having a big audience at one point. i didn't like being put on a pedestal and having so many eyes looking at me. i dont think i knew what i was getting into and i only wanted the positive aspects of a big audience. it was fun and validating in a way.

im so scared and anxious. my art feels like such a personal part of me that i dont want to display but i crave connection through it. in the past i loved sharing my fandom art and getting to interact with other artists, but i got scared of underage people interacting with my nsfw stuff.
