If you've ever wanted push your glasses up your nose before ending your rival's career, now you can. They light up when you push on the bridge. Best $11 I've spent in the past year.

Under no circumstances should anyone do this with ferric chloride. It will permanently etch stainless steel if left for 10-30 minutes. I repeat, do not use ferric chloride to deface cybertrucks.

The Demon-Haunted World is an excellent read, but that's true of anything written by Carl Sagan.

Just got my first pen tablet. Transitioning to this from drawing on my Samsung S22 Ultra has been quite a challenge, but I'm swiftly getting the hang of it. Trying for a Moebius style high desert landscape. Feel like I'm not capturing the vibe, but I like it so far.

Hayao Miyazaki cited the works of Jean Giraud (Moebius) as inspiration for Nausicca of the Valley of the Wind. Miyazaki was blown away at "Moebius' ability to work from perception rather than technique". I have no clue how to apply that, but if Miyazaki thinks it is important, then I gotta learn.

It's shocking to me that Battle Angel Alita isn't more popular. This was the first manga I ever read, the first I ever found in a comic shop. It's absolutely classic, and you owe it to yourself to give it a read.

Sometimes you have to put every sweater you have available on a tiny dog who is cold. Now they're no longer cold, just confused and unable to move.

A tiny tan colored shih-tzu wears a number of sweaters and has a confused look on their face. They're sitting on a square pillow with checked tufting.

My constant companions. Momo (left) Fiona (right). They're wonderful little couch dragons and sweet as can be. I am very fortunate to have them in my life.

3d printed a sleeve for my S-pen. Tired of using a little bitty stylus for when I draw. When I finally get a proper tablet, I'll retire this thing and be a real person.
