So You Want To Be A Wizard and the whole Young Wizards series by Diane Duane is so good. It is the very best YA Fantasy/Sci-fi. More on the adult side I would recommend Steven Erikson's Malazan Book Of The Fallen, Robin Hobb's Realm of the Elderlings and Janny Wurt's Wars of Light and Shadow.

Really it's kind of an apples and oranges comparison, they are both great sauces, but Sriracha is sweet and smooth, with a particular unique flavor from the fermentation and the ripeness of the peppers, and Sambal Oelek is seedy and hotter, with a different unique flavor.

This has always been a rather ridiculous claim. Wherever humans have settled and live and create garbage, there are rats. That is indeed wrong and disturbing. Once, many years ago, in a remote cabin in the wilderness, all we had for fresh food was one each overripe banana and avocado. We blended the two soft fruits into a creamy pudding and served it with a drizzle of molasses and a light sprinkling of oats. Not bad.

I mean, yeah sure, fair enough. But the US, as the likely aggressor, is also a NATO member, and their leader has apparently called Canada's closer ties with the EU "hostile." While you are of course correct, current US leadership does not seem likely to consider such nuances of diplomacy.
