As an immunocompromised person, it’s truly upsetting constantly seeing our deaths come with an asterisk to make the “normies” feel more secure. These two people were failed to be protected by their government. They should still be here. Eating lettuce shouldn’t be a death sentence to anyone.

In Multnomah County, my husband’s primary ballot never arrived. And then his replacement ballot also never arrived. Not a new address. Mine arrived just fine. He had to go pick up a ballot in person.

Trump’s CDC is cancelling $11 billion in COVID funding allocated to health departments and nonprofits, claiming the grants are no longer necessary because the pandemic is over. This is wrong. COVID is a continuing threat and millions have Long COVID. We still need to do more to mitigate its harms.
