I think it’s definitely harder to make friends in general now and days. People only have so much energy in the day and I feel like people in some circles/hobbies are more likely to have less social energy or have a lot of social anxiety. Making connections is hard

I think it’s also silly that authorizing on TH gives access to the entire account, rather than just one character. Or that the privacy settings are so broad. I wish it was more customizable…

This is why I usually include the main reference by itself to an artist I’m working with but also include the toyhouse link (if the character has one) so I can offer examples of previous work. Just to help show personality more or other interpretations.

Omg yes. I was a huuuge Barbie kid, like obsessed. The dolls, the movies, the games, how soft a lot of the art was… I used to own all of the Barbie and Friends Book Club books… Good stuff

I think it definitely depends on the shapes of the rest of the character. Like sometimes I do full hooves if the character has more animal qualities, sometimes I do hoof-hands if they’re more anthro, bla bla bla. Experiment!
