AFTERMOON Travis is dead, but his ghost returns with a dark mission. In a bureaucratic afterlife of killers and beasts, he must join rebellious spirits in a daring heist...and avoid killing the woman he loves.🤞 🌓Post-death ⏰Ticking clock 😈Dark+Snarky #questpit #Q #A #F #T

Left: a lantern with moon designs
Middle: a hand reaching up in desperation
Right: a cityscape
Background: hazy blue

Text: An agent's guide to AFTERMOON
Adult supernatural thriller
Forget heaven or hell. He's going back to earth to torment the woman he loves.

Background: hazy blue with a cityscape and a hand reaching in from the right.

TEXT: COMPS: Starter villain by John Scalzi
Sign Here by Claudia Lux
Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

Background: hazy blue with moon designs on a lantern. A shadow lurks on the right.

TEXT: Pitch:
Travis’s untimely death lands him
in a lunar afterlife.
There, he’s sentenced to return to Earth
as a demon,
tasked with tormenting the woman he loves
and the man destined to murder her.
Things only get worse when Travis learns that facilitating
her murder will mean he gets erased from existence.
Only two days remain, and if he fails,
a far nastier demon takes the reins...
and this guy has the reach to wreck all of humanity.

Background: hazy blue with cityscape and a hand reaching in from the left.

Text: Opening Lines: Dragons aren’t typically known for loading dishwashers.
But the one hunched beside Travis’s sink didn’t seem to care about tradition. Its spine scraped the ceiling, claws clinking as it dropped forks into the rack. Black scales swallowed the morning light, and when it sighed, smoke curled between needle teeth.
Travis’s socks slid on tile as he stumbled into the kitchen. His stomach dropped, knotting into a lump.
No. There could not be a dragon in his mother’s kitchen. Not with her pristine granite countertops and losa criolla backsplash tiles. If this thing so much as left a scratch, that fiery Puerto Rican would strangle him before the dragon could.
Travis swallowed, heart thumping in discordance with the morning bird song. He had to get rid of this thing.

Snippets of THE SUITOR'S TRIAL
Two years, three weeks and five days since I swore I'd take revenge, and finally, my time has come. My pocket watch, amid the clutter on my desk, ticks as slowly as ever. Just five more minutes. Then a servant will lead me into the king's office to sign away the rest of my life—along with it, taking the first step towards retribution.

"Don't you look lovely this evening?"
I twist around with my dagger ready to stab. Hayes stops it right beneath the hollow of his jaw.
"Why that's not a very nice way to greet your future husband." He's paler than usual under the poor streetlight, a new cut across his temple.
"If I really thought you were to be my future husband I wouldn't have missed."
"For all you know, I might be into that."
"Clearly." I look him up and down.
"Now, let's get to what we came here for, shall we?" He pries the dagger from my grip and shoves it back into my holster, gracing my thigh in the effort. "Did you bring the letter?"

My gaze stays stuck on her as she laughs—at the new cut on her cheek from my ring—as she stands up, spitting blood on the ground and smearing the residue across her face.
"Look, we match." There's blood on her teeth as she grins.
She adjusts the grip on her daggers in a millisecond, tossing another my way. A knee pounds into my gut as I duck. I catch it—pulling her out of balance. And suddenly we're both back on the ground.
Securing her feet on both sides of me, she aims her daggers straight for my head.
I shift over, but not enough to avoid the burn at the tip of my ear. Another punch reaches my lip before I grip her wrist, lock my foot around hers and shove her off to switch positions. Before she can get away, I strike her jaw—hoping he'll take the hint and pretend to lose already.
With her free hand she snatches another dagger from my hip. I knock it out of her hand, catching it and bringing the tip to her throat. "I think that's enough."

✨ THE CRAFT x ONE DARK WINDOW ✨ When Lola’s deadly shadows escape, killing her best friend, she must seek control at an elite magical academy before they kill again—or lose her humanity. Perfect for agents who like: 🏳️‍🌈 Sapphic BIPOC witches 🖤 Body horror 💫 Fantasy/Horror/Mystery #QuestPit #Q #A #F

An image of a school with multiple towers, in black on a grey sky, with multiple crescent moons hanging above. The text reads ‘an agents guide to The Bells of Le Fay, adult dark academia fantasy, 102k words.

A silhouette of a woman reaching up to the sky with a bright light between her hands. There is a shadowed tree next to her. The text reads: pitch, The price of magic is monstrous. Lola Knight expects to live a normal life, but when the deadly shadows beneath her skin escape, killing her best friend, she must attend Le Fay Academy for Higher Magics to seek control before they kill again. When she finds out the shadows are slowly turning her into a monster, she chases a cure through the ancient archives—but instead unearths a dangerous conspiracy, and must decide: keep digging to unmask the true monsters, or accept her fate and risk her humanity.

An open spell book surrounded by candles and a mirror. There are three book covers; for One Dark Window, Book of Night, and The Incandescent. The text reads: tropes and comps, witchy dark academia, monstrous magic, sapphic romance, ancient archives, body horror, unhelpful ghosts.

The silhouette of a woman with a huge dark shadow looming over her. The text reads: first lines. The shadows had teeth, and they hungered for blood. They shouldn’t exist here, amongst the weathered sandstone of Durham University. They shouldn’t exist at all, outside the confines of Lola’s mind. But the terrible scratching of claws against flagstone wasn’t a figment of her imagination, as she had first thought, strolling arm-in-arm with Sam on their way home from an end-of-exams party. She didn’t notice them straight away, her gaze sliding over the shadows cast by the faculty buildings. She didn’t notice them until they peeled away from the walls, their darkness thicker and more absolute than the others. Even then she pulled her gaze away, dismissing it. Inebriation hung over her like a thin veil, turning the glow of street lamps into a kaleidoscopic sky.
