I don't think you should apologize, it's your bluesky account and you decide what to put in it. Besides, I don't think it's "spam" and very much enjoy your videos with the fishies 😊

Hey, just a stranger on the internet, but I've been feeling really homesick and lonely too recently, and if it's not uncomfortable for you, you can imagine a sassy owl hugging you tight, if it helps. This moments of weakness, or powerlessness, do not erase the super cool and strong person you are

True, you have to sacrifice your soulmate and potentially lose your life, but you can still do a lot of good! 😃 Anyways, I'm not saying it's not a tragedy. It is, but there is some comfort in it, I think. 4/4

In this sense, Orpheus is a hero who saved a lot of people and brought good to the world. And he "wore his heart out on his sleeve", so he's doubly powerful: not only is he a hero, he shows that you can be a hero *without* having to sacrifice those naive but pure and soft parts of you 3/4

and then he had to go bring her back, and in the process damned the both of them to not see each other ever again. He sacrificed everything so that he could finish the song that could heal the world. And by the end of the story, to me, it looks like the world did heal 2/4

One thing that I find very compelling of Orpheus in Hadestown is that he's still a hero, in a way. One could argue that it was because he focused on finishing his song that Eurydice ended up in Hadestown, 1/4

Stamattina l'apertura del Guardian è questa: Pedro Sánchez dice che la Spagna sta subendo gli effetti della crisi climatica, mentre in Francia i pompieri combattono contro gli incendi. Oltre 360mila persone evacuate nei due paesi. 1/13

Honestly I would be surprised to know that GCs have class consciousness. Usually people who desire power for the sake of oppressing vulnerable people are perfectly ok with a society with an elite of ultra-powerful, perhaps dreaming of one day having that power for themselves.

It's #PortfolioDay! 💗 I'm Giulia, a queer Art Director in videgames and fantasy art lover. One day I'll get back to my true love: book covers and illustrations. 📧giul.valentini@gmail.com Portfolio | Links | Art Zine | Prints #illustration #ttrpgart
On the Left: fullbody portrait of a elf woman in a layered red outfit with various satchels containing instruments like brushes and scalpels, and holding various scrolls. She stands proudly in a dusty, sandy environment, a cheeky smile on her face.
On the Right: painting of two feminine figures, Fley (a green skinned tiefling with long dark hair, wearing a tight black dress) and Darania (a pale half-elf, blonde hair pulled up in a crown braid, wearing a white robe with red spider lily embroidery). Darania stands behind Fley, clutching the other's face in her hands, red polished nails pressing in her skin, and looks at the viewer with a predatory smirk. Fley stares ahead with wide eyes.A scene set in what looks to be a temple, dominated by a huge circular stained glass window. The sun is setting behind it, illuminating the room in gold and pink light. At the center of it, a tiefling priest is giving their sermon, their pose solemn but not detached from the audience, wearing a sun symbol on their chest and belt and flowing fabric. Behind them there are four hooded priests. In the foreground, the audience (consisting of people from different races, species and ages) listen closely from the shadowed areas.illustration, painted in warm grays and reds, of Sheireen (OC - a drow woman of undefined age, with rot exposing the flesh of the left side of her face and hand) wrapped in a dark shawl blown by the wind. In the background, a barren land with a tower crumbling in the air against the backdrop of a red moon.Illustration of Fley [OC], a tiefling with light green skin, long black hair and golden eyes. They wear a robe with flowing white sleeves. They're staring ahead at the viewer with a determined expression and snarling a spell out, their hand outstretched in a command. Green and pink magic swirls around them in a wave reminiscent of water and northern lights.

I'm just a stranger on the internet, but I like the art you share here, I don't think you deserve to be so harsh on yourself to the point of doubting yourself so much. I understand it's not easy, but you really don't deserve this kind of self-criticism.

I would spend most of it on rent and bills because I'm european 😅 but I think I would also feel less crushing guilt for being unemployed and in search of a job. I think it would be more normalized to be in this condition, AND I wouldn't have to worry about burning through my savings

We think to get what we want is our destiny. But to reach and miss lets us land where we are. This is the maturing of our destiny. And landing there lets the light in each moment emanate like the sun. - Charlotte Freeman #Poetry 💙📚👀
THE BEAUTY OF LESS

We think to get what we want is our destiny. But to reach and miss lets us land where we are. This is the maturing of our destiny. And landing there lets the light in each moment emanate like the sun. Holding stones and pain and each other in this light turns ambition into being. The beauty of less lets the seed of everything sprout within us.

I admittedly know very little of how all this works, but the fact that 7 people managed to make something like this (and this is not even the whole game) fills me with awe and inspiration, because what do you mean only 7 people did this?! 🥲

*Me bursting into @thunderlotusgames.com studios like chef Skinner in Ratatouille* WHO IS BEHIND THE ART IN THIS GAME?! I DEMAND TO KNOW!
A screenshot from the game "At Fate's End". It portrays a fire in the center, on the left side sits the main character, Shane, a knight in red armor and long wavy dark hair. On the right sits another character holding a guitar and wearing a big hat that I think is made of straw. The scene is set in a forest. The warmth of the fire and the shadows around suggest it might be night. The vibe of the whole scene is very cozy. It relaxes me a lot. A screenshot from the game "At Fate's End". It portrays a sword fight between Shane, the knight in red armor on the left, and her sister Camilla, a tall blond woman with one eye and a lightining sword. Dialogue cards on the left suggest Shane better be careful which words she chooses. Typical siblings' interaction.A screenshot from the game "At Fate's End". It portrays the main character Shane (who is a knight) laying in a regal bed and sitting beside her is her sister Camilla, a tall blond woman with a cloud of flowy hair, one eye and an arm made of lightning. It looks like Shane is waking up and Camilla is gently caressing her hair with a remorseful expression on her face. Evidently Shane didn't choose her words wisely.A screenshot from the game "At Fate's End". It portrays the main character Shan (a knight in red armor) on the left and her brother Roman, a tall man in a (how can I put it...) very stylish pose showing his back. The characters are in the middle of a duel with their swords. Except the brother, Roman, looks like he has a chain weapon of some kind. In the background there are statues of dragons, it looks like the duel is happening inside or on the outside walls of a castle. Definitely hyping me for the game.

Oh yes definitely, I'm not for psychological terrorism personally. Just observing that people being able to avoid jerks would eventually select for less jerky people in the community, maybe. That said, I also prefer the approach with the thought experiment.

Sloe @sloe.bsky.social · 09/05/2026
I think the community at large could even benefit from ostracizing such people. They show clear antisocial behaviours (if you don't bother even trying to be nice to people bc you consider them inferior to you, yikes) and maybe a kind of "soft" isolation can be a good way to correct them

I rewatched the Da Vinci code few days ago, and I just couldn't watch it with a straight face. Which isn't bad because at least it made me laugh for a couple of hours and I needed those laughs, but yeah, worse than I remembered definitely. Still, goofy but entertaining

I think partly because they are, as a culture, still very sheltered...? In the sense that their wealth of resources, as a continent, still hasn't dried up, so the vibes are obviously different than, say, post-soviet eastern Europe or 20th century Italy

I see how frustrating it must be for this woman to have to explain basic emotional intelligence to a man who has been taught (probably for all his life) that if you want something from someone you should always use brute force. IMHO It encapsulates one of the fights of modern feminism

I always thought it was due to English being easier to learn as a foreign language. My mothertongue is Italian, and I studied a bit of French together with English when I was younger, I'd say English was way easier than French (or Italian, or German)

Also: I think the intent is noble, I like it when devs make things easier to use for IT illiterates like me. But for the sake of their sanity, they should keep in mind that "AI" now is a word carrying a lot of weight, kinda like "virus" or "respiratory disease" was during the pandemic.

Sloe @sloe.bsky.social · 30/03/2026
Yeah, I think they should make it more clear for non-dev people like me, because initially I was also confused and didn't understand exactly what it was for. To be honest, as someone who has tried (and failed miserably) to make a custom feed, I think I might give it a try.
