🌶 Spice Check! Help me gauge the heat level: – Cinnamon roll or ghost pepper? – Slow burn or instant sizzle? – How much detail before it’s “too much”? – Fade-to-black or extra seasoning? – Blush, gasp, or book-throwing vibes? #Sci-Fi #romance ##IndieAuthor #booktok #darkromance #morallygrey

Yes daddy... I mean, meet Nox! He’s born of shadowed wilds and star-forged instinct, a hunter whose name is spoken with equal fear and carved with the kind of still, coiled strength that unsettles even seasoned warriors, he moves with the quiet certainty of someone who has never failed a pursuit.

Sure. The cover I'm working on currently, and some character art.

Because it costs a lot of money, and I use AI for mental sketches that don't need to be developed for more. And all the character art, book covers and such I do myself. So the only things I've shared with you that are AI are the sceneries.

Alexandra La Strega @sloansloan.bsky.social · 21/11/2025

Thank you! I appreciate that. And honestly I use AI for some stuff because of time, its just for me (helps keep track of ideas, landscapes and scenery and the like) and I have so many ideas if I sat down and drew all of them I would never have time to write the world's I see.

Those are AI that i created on Canva with my ideas. The covers and character art are mine, I have a bachelor's in fine art, but I use AI to flush out my ideas for myself as a reference. But its all 100% my ideas and thoughts.

My book? Oh boy. Like Avatar meets star wars but better. So all the glowing bioluminescent plants and animals, and alien species, but instead of everyone being poor and dirty its clean, organic the spaceships seem alive, crystals and light. Very juicy visuals, with elegance and color.

Her adaptability. She sees opportunity instead of problems, and uses them to her advantage. Shes the only human in a massive Galactic Nexus, which is designed to showcase other species capabilities and strengths, and she uses that despite being weaker than others. Good question.

After escaping a cult, Aviana lives under a false name, desperate to forget. But when Theon, a vengeful ex-soldier, kidnaps her believing she ruined his sister’s life, captivity becomes a reckoning. In his cabin, revenge turns to obsession—and truth blurs into desire.

I didnt get a good picture-cause I was driving-but on the way home yesterday the fall leaves and wet pavement created a golden tunnel, and it was so beautiful! And there were three rainbows!

My book, The Cinnamon Spell, out in October. A witch’s cinnamon spell brings more than she bargained for—a brooding heir, a haunted house, and dark magic. Cozy, witchy, and slow-burn. 🍂✨ #CozyFantasy #WitchyRomance #AutumnReads #HauntedHouseRomance

Rowan Ambrose isn’t your typical new guy in town. He’s sarcastic, gorgeous, and inherited the haunted house on the hill. But when Charlotte’s cinnamon spell pulls him into her life, sparks fly—and so do shadows. They’ll have to face his family’s dark legacy, and a magic that doesn’t play nice. 🖤🌙

Yeeees! And science fiction doesn’t have to have some deep profound philosophical implications in order to be good sci fi either! It doesn’t have to be a political statement every single time.

Long ago, before the stars fell and reshaped the world, magic was wild and free. When the stars fell, and took control of the world, many creatures hid away. One of them was the Web Mother. Ancient and wise, her descendants, still weave prophecy. #booktok #fantasy #series #indie #books

I support the diversity, but personally I don’t think anyone’s religion should have anything to do with their political stance, or why they were voted for.

For those who don’t know me, I’m an avid reader. I read anywhere from 1-3 books a week depending on work and life. Here are my special edition books. I started collecting them last year. (This is 1/3 of my shelves 😅) #books #reader #author #writer #fantasy #romance
