the War Powers Resolution. Remind them that
an act of congress is required to engage in
acts of war.
It is important to remember that several
months ago when we bombed Iran this
president said we took out all nuclear
capabilitites. It is also rich to recall that in
2018 he destroyed the JCPOA Agreement,
which helped limit Iran's nuclear capabilities.

Utah leaders, seem to be welcoming an ICE
Detention center to our state. It feels like high
time we the people let them know we reject this.
Call your Members of Congress and ask them to
vote for increased accountability and reforms for
ICE and to freeze funding to DHS.
Then let them know that you oppose the idea of
locating an ICE detention center in our state.
Remind them of the stains of Topaz and ask how
this fits with the values of our state.
Include Gov. Cox in your outreach.

amazing work! Let's keep it up.
Today's call should include both Senators and
your House Representative. We need to let our
leaders know that we soundly reject Trump's
calls to nationalize the elections. This is an
alarming suggestion from a sitting president
and our leaders need to publicly support
elections run by the states. If you're calling
Maloy or Owens, you can also speak out
against their federal lawsuit.
Be sure to speak against the Republican move
to take over DC finances. This overreach
shouldn't be supported.

New reports on ICE violating over 100 court
orders show how out of control this group is.
"ICE is not a law unto itself" the federal judge
wrote. Demand accountability starting with
the impeachment of Kristi Noem.
Also demand the release of, Liam Ramos, the
5-year-old from Minnesota that was detained
last week. The tactics of this administration to
strip people of TPS and then deport them are
disgusting and inhumane.

A steady stream of folks made their way to Target in SLC to buy and return salt. One guy from TN came to ski and was hitting all the Targets on his way to the mountain. A favorite moment was when a store employee thanked us. We were welcomed! We’re all in this together!
